ITEM DESCRIPTION: Aptly named after its design, Flos is a piece of magical gear that closely resembles a flower and possesses glass / mirror-like properties. Flos possesses 8 petals, each petal being able to individually detach, move, expand and contract from anywhere between the size of a palm to a standard shield in response to his specific ethernano signature. When it comes to usage, Flos truly shines when used in conjunction with Ryuuichi's light magic, amplifying his minor output to form grand effects.

Solar Flare[break]
At its core, Flos can absorb surrounding light and his own light magic to generate its own glow which can last up to 5 posts before requiring another charge. When it is made to absorb excess light (2 posts), each petal generates a strong glow and heat enough to scorch a person upon contact. Overcharging a petal (3 posts) causes it to create a miniature explosion around the size of basketball, enough to leave light burns and knock away any unsuspecting hands reaching out for it - This effect is known as Overloading. Any petal that has experienced Overloading will remain hot and become dull, losing its ability to interact with light or light magic for 2 turns until they cool down.

Prism[break]
By sending Flos' petals in all directions and aiming his light magic at any one of them, Ryuuichi can alter its properties to reflect the light ray, causing it to bounce from one petal to another at varying angles without losing any of its firepower. This effectively creates a mirror zone that allows him to abruptly change the direction of his spell and extend its range to follow the movements of his targets. After 3 turns, all petals will experience Overloading.

Convergence[break]
Used primarily when Prism is active, Ryuuichi can concentrate several reflected light rays into a singular petal to create a laser beam with firepower equivalent to an A- rank spell, burning through rock and leaving second-degree burns. Upon firing, all petals will immediately Overload and require time to cool down. However, the main petal used to converge the light rays will no longer be able to interact with light or light magic until he takes the time to repair it (cannot be used for the remainder of thread).

Mirage[break]
One of Ryuuichi's signature moves and his favourite way to deal with all nuisances. By positioning the petals anywhere within a large area, Ryuuichi is able to distort any light in the area and create an illusory version of himself whilst effectively going invisible himself. While Mirage is active, he is unable to use Flos to attack directly. Furthermore, Mirage does not mask the sound of his movements or his scent, allowing anyone who's perceptive enough to break through the spell. Shooting or hitting any petal will temporarily expose Ryuuichi's position and requires a turn to reconceal his presence. Mirage may only last for as long as Ryuuichi's ethernano will allow.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: A handcrafted set of knives made specifically to help with the conduction of Leviathan. Each can only last a few strikes (2 turns) before temporarily losing their conductivity (1 turn). However, they can each hold their own in melee combat if need be.

MAGIC DESCRIPTION: Light magic is one of the simplest kinds of magic people can find in their day to day life with many practical uses such as illuminating a dark room or possibly forming a heat source when light is condensed to a point. Ryuuichi has trained this form of magic to the point where he is able to generate his own form of luminescence, create bright flashes and slightly manipulate the light present in his surroundings, whether gathering it to add to his own power or helping to disperse it to allow the light to reach further. If he wishes, he may instead concentrate the light in a single direction, creating what can effectively be called a laser that gets weaker past medium range and completely loses power at long range. As a natural result, Lumine tends to be much more effective in generating heat and bright flashes in sunlit areas.

MAGIC LIMITATIONS: As of far, Ryuuichi is limited to decently illuminating areas about the size of a room and condensing his own light energy into a small fire that can fit in the palm of his hands. The fire that he creates is only able to remain within a short distance of his person, doesn't emit enough heat to leave burn scars and only lasts for as long as he can maintain the spell. Should he wish to maintain the fire beyond his ability of maintaining it, he has to instead ignite a flammable object with the flame.

MAGIC DESCRIPTION: As an elemental caster magic that allows its user to generate, manipulate and amplify the electrical signals within their body, Leviathan is Ryuuichi's specialty magic and ace in the hole. One distinguishing feature of Leviathan is the unmistakable streaks of azure and violet in each electrical current. Due to Leviathan's innate connection to Ryuuichi's electrical nervous signals, he has passively gained the ability to sense the cardinal directions much like a compass. This means that unless there is external magnetic forces present to interfere, he isn't one to get lost easily.

Chaos Circuit[break]
Chaos Circuit allows the user to draw on electricity in their environment instead of generating their own. Furthermore, forcefully shocking an object or a medium-sized area allows the user to gain insight on what exists within - Internal mechanisms of an object right down to each gear present or a rough layout of an area including number of people and kinds of objects present. However with the area search, the user is unable to identify any other specific details about the area or the people present, nor are they able to detect objects that are not in contact with the ground.

Ravenous Hunter[break]
One of the more basic applications of Leviathan, Ravenous Hunter forcefully amplifies surges of electricity through the user's body, affecting their nervous system, hastening their reaction time and buffing their speed by 3 tiers. Anyone who comes into contact with the user may face a mild shock which is enough to cause a kneejerk reaction or temporarily stun, leaving a soft burn on exposed skin.

Tempest[break]
The fun part of his kit, Tempest is a basic spell that allows the user to discharge electricity as a medium-ranged lightning bolt or a short-ranged electrical field around him. Conductive objects caught on the edges of this spell will allow it to extend its range by a short distance, up to long range for a lightning bolt or medium range for the electrical field. As an additional point, the lightning bolt will naturally strike at any conductive objects, redirecting its flow accordingly.

Eye of the Storm[break]
The most destructive spell of the bunch, Eye of the Storm creates a medium-sized electrical field that is constantly surging with energy, lasting for 5 turns. Anything magnetic within the field will feel a minor tug towards the ground due to the attractive force generated by the area, but this force is easily shrugged off. People caught in the initial creation of the field will experience a strong electrical shock that can mildly impede their movements while those who linger in the area will feel a slow burning effect as they are continuously hit by electricity. After 2 turns, they will become numb to the pain induced by the field but will continue to take damage should they choose not to leave. Eye of the Storm has a 1 post setup and 2 post cooldown.

MAGIC LIMITATIONS: Though versatile, electricity does have weaknesses that can easily be exploited.

Though matchups vary, there are a few environments and elements that will affect Leviathan's effectiveness. Pyro magic, hot areas, high humidity and insulators dull the strength of electrical output. Low humidity allows for easier creation of static electricity whilst cold areas will increase conductivity of all things. Water magic and water-logged areas results in all drenched things within short range to be electrocuted each time a spell is used.

Serving as a double-edged sword, conductive materials may be used to redirect the electrical flow in both user's and opponent's favour. Setting a conductive object nearby will cause any generated electricity to redirect from its target, effectively missing its mark and rendering the spell useless.

As his nervous signals are often interfered with by the usage of Leviathan, Ryuuichi is unable to regulate his own body temperature normally, especially when using his ethernano. Using any spells (From both Lumine or Leviathan) in quick succession - activating 2 spells in one turn - or over a continuous span of 3 posts will cause his temperature to rise, lowering the power of Leviathan's spells by 1 rank.

Though naturally adapted to electric shocks, Ryuuichi is not fully immune to the effects of his own spells. Should he push past his limits, he will face slight impediment to his movements and may become numb to his own injuries, being unable to tell when he should stop fighting unless he stops to check his physical condition.

SKILL DESCRIPTION: With years of self-experimentation and learning from master craftsmen from around the region, Ryuuichi has developed and refined his skill of magical gear crafting. He is able to craft gear that is best attuned to a mage's personal preference of magic and repair damaged equipment with ease. While smaller cracks and broken weapons can be fixed on the fly, melted machinery and larger scale damage to equipment requires one full turn of concentration to repair. Destroyed equipment can be restored as long as a few fragments remain and Ryuuichi has remembered any magical effects that it may carry.

SKILL DESCRIPTION: With a precision born from years of craftsmanship and mobility from years of wandering mountainous terrain, Ryuuichi's fighting style revolves around accuracy and dexterity to best utilise his daggers and Flos. In close-quarters, he's swift and agile in his movements, moving around unstable and uneven terrain with relative ease and leaping off them to dodge or gather momentum. While he can hold his own in close-quarter combat, creating wounds that can cause a person to bleed out over time, his preference lies in throwing his daggers to cut and redirect Leviathan's spells. When he isn't in combat, Ryuuichi is able to move through uneven terrains without breaking a sweat and can outpace many people in such settings.

SKILL DESCRIPTION: Cuts, bruises, scrapes and scars; Ryuuichi is no stranger to wounds and injuries, nor is he one to sit idly when he sees them going untreated. He holds his equipment with delicacy, being able to stitch open wounds and treat mere scratches with ease. Treatment of deep wounds requires patience and uninterrupted concentration but once he takes care of it, a person could usually get back into action after a few days of proper rest.
