He was a cut above the rest, someone who has been told all of his life that he was going places, only to never really indulge in training for this cause. Now at twenty, he's far behind the likes of U.A. students in their second years and doesn't wish to admit such. While he may act a bit disrespectful to those who rank close enough to him that it won't be an issue, he's still a hero at heart, opting to aid others in need- especially when it comes to those he cherishes. On the side of his hero occupation, he has a passion for writing that, while not as important to him, is one of his creative outlets. Since realizing his slow progress in getting better, he's made it his goal to train as much as he can- to better himself rather than act like a pompous asshole. » CASUAL ATTIRE: A slim body standing at 178cm, Haru is a bit underweight for his age for reasons most likely related to his training regime as of recent. His skin portrays his quirk perfectly, chill to the touch and a general ghastly look. When roaming the streets as a civilian, he's not one to dress up too spectacularly- comfort clothes that make him look presentable is where it's at, ranging from lazy choices such as sweaters to more fancy choices such as dress shirts. » HERO ATTIRE: In his hero suit, he dawns a sheath on his left hip that holds a saber- the hilt is gold and the blade is steel. Going onto his actual appearance, he has a white shirt underneath a gray waistcoat, a blue overcoat completing the layers that is normally left open, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, which would reveal his wrist bands. Dark blue trousers and knee-high black boots rounds out his suit. Features of it include insulation to keep his body a bit warmer during patrols and quirk usage- though it doesn't do too much. HISTORY ``You are a prodigy.`` If there had to be a common theme for a lot of high-class hero failures, it would most likely be their ego, frail towers built on the idea that they are above others and, thus, not required to keep up rigorous training that others must simply because they are built better- Haru was ensnared in such a trap all the same, a family of high stature that had generations of varied ice-wielders, though none have been as pure as Haru- as a kid, he was recognized, by his family, as the one that held an amazing amount of potential. This would mean a magnificent future for the child- If they weren't ensnaring him in a trap. To understand the story fully, you would need to understand Haru Suzuki's family history. Known for their hero agency, Glacier, the Suzuki's have brought forth many powerful heroes that all wield the powers of ice in some form or fashion. Of course, their non-family employees all held quirks of varying types- an entire agency based on powers of ice would have a glaring flaw! But, as the generations moved on, anyone related to the Suzuki family would always marry within the line of their quirk factor- ice and ice should make ice, right? Born into the world on the 3rd of December, Haru's mother was an ill lady. Outwardly, she looked perfectly fine, save for the pasty white her skin was. On the inside, however, her bones were ice- it was dangerous to bring her outside, in fear of a bone snapping from a fall. His father, on the other hand, was the current head of the Glacier agency- a prideful man, he was very proud to learn that his son hadn't inherited the dangerous drawbacks of the mother's quirk and, instead, came out as something magnificent. The family normally called him a pure-blood. His quirk was something that would immediately put him in the front of the line to succeed the agency- it was quite the big deal in the family's inner-circles, his father going to gloat to every known branch of his family. Oblivious to the world, Haru knew little of why he gloated all over, though he did speak words that still ring in the boy's head to this day; ``I will train you.``A few days after, Haru would see his father leave the house as he always did, saluting off to his son with a large smile as he always had- only to never return. He couldn't remember much of what happened after, a distraught mother unable to show her face around the kid that resembled him greatly and family that could only utter rumors of the death. Gone missing during the day of departure, his body was found a few days after- with his face mangled, it was DNA testing that identified the man. His support gear was dismantled to scraps and his body cold as the antarctic itself. There was obvious suspicion towards other branches of family- they had always talked about how electing someone as a heir was irresponsible for the head of the agency simply due to a quirk they were born with, but his father never listened. He would gloat on about the boy would be the best hero they ever produced- but he had always planned on training him strictly. Haru grew up without a father figure, the pain from losing him a distant memory at this point as his mother was under another sickness- it seemed to be every month that she fell ill at this point. During this time, a branch of his family would move into his home in order to 'take care of the two' now that his father had left the picture- control of Glacier was temporarily given to Haru's uncle, who was one of the main people against Haru's promotion to immediate heir, but it wasn't like he could just write off the late hero's decision, he had to devise a plan- spoiling the young child with words of praise and deterring him from training, his quirk would barely progress as he grew older, bribery allowing him to pass his subpar hero school easily. and then, it happened. A declaration- now being 19 years of age, Haru had lived his life rather easily without any struggle, his patrols being relatively short and his arrogance high. This declaration had said that the boy was 'unfit' to inherit the agency when it came to his twentieth birthday- and that his own son was more fit for the role, one with an 'impure' ice quirk, as everyone else had. A duel was set up- and Haru was sweeped, barely able to fight back as the Rookie Hero quickly beat the spoiled brat, proving that they were the one who should inherit the agency. What...? ...Huh? ... What happened? Confusion plagued the brat's mind as the condescending glare from his cousin was plastered in his mind, anger filling his being. Screams of it 'not being fair' and that 'they never let him practice' among other things were discarded as him being a poor loser, his mother unable to comment due to her high fever. He knew his mother would look out for him after she got up, right? She was always there to look after him whenever he fell, there to pick him up, there to- Sadly, this would not happen. To add onto his list of shit luck, his mother's body was found at the bottom of a staircase- bones of ice shattered beyond repair, life drained from his even paler skin. Widened eyes would stare at the bottom, a sleepy gaze would fall upon him by his cousin as everything was processed- with a shriek, everyone else was quick to come to the scene and pin their glares at Haru- and, in his uncle's office, grim news was delivered. An angered yell would come from the boy as he slammed the desk, news of him needing to move out of the home given with such a solemn stare. There was suspicions on him for pushing his mother down the stairs, though there was no real evidence to support this claim. They couldn't press charges nor could they revoke his hero license- all they could do was remove him from the Glacier's hero registry and kick him out of the house. As long as he left silently, they wouldn't tell anyone about these suspicions and he could live on as normal. He was pissed. Grieving with the loss of his mother and having to live with being unable to fulfill his father's wish of inheriting the agency, he could've very well actually murdered someone, rather than being falsely accused. But he didn't. He left silently. But he knew he'd be coming back- he couldn't leave it at just this. He needed to resolve everything- and to find out what actually happened with his mother- why she was even out of bed with her sickness, why everyone was so quick to blame him- why they would even build him up only to kick him out of the top story. On top of everything, he just wanted revenge. ITEMS cellphone - standard for many, a luxury for some. haru's cellphone is around a year old model-wise but still works just fine; some numbers exist on it, but he mostly uses it to scroll by the tokyo inn chat for some mid-patrol amusement. glacier-brand saber - some many not know this, but the glacier agency has their own brand of support gear! haru's saber is made of a metal made to be resistant to more than a normal blade, but it's still functionally the same when it comes to normal combat- it's about the user, not the tools! wallet - inside haru's wallet sits a few expired cards and the pocket cash he had accumulated through his patrols. also included is both a picture of his late father and one of both him and his mother. he takes glances at it whenever he feels as though he's straying from the right path. QUIRK AURGELMIR'S WILL PLATINUM | ADEPT | EMITTER
» DESCRIPTION: Aurgelmir’s Will is a quirk that’s easily described with a single word- Cryokinesis, or manipulation of ice. This chilly quirk allows Haru to form ice from anywhere on their body and extend it outwards- such as forming a sheet of ice below them using his foot or create a small slide by swinging their hand in the air. At the level of [ ADEPT ], Haru now has mastered the basics and is beginning to use more and more complex applications of the quirk. With their general control, they can apply a thin sheet of ice to their sword which would cause fourth-degree frostbite on those who get stricken for two posts and the ability to slice through common metals, coat a 30m² area with a sheet of ice to reinforce it with a thick steel-durability shield, create a slippery surface with a thin sheet of ice on the ground, or even coat his arms with ice so that it's punching power increases to the point that thick steels would break with a few strikes, not entirely unlike a mimic of his father's quirk. Haru is also able to create basic constructs of ice- from a 30m wide and tall slab of ice to a staircase, he can create basic objects with his ice, or even blast an area with air filled with mini-flakes of ice, creating a blast of ice-cold air that will block back items as heavy as a ton. At the [ ADEPT ] level, Haru’s techniques have reached a professional level, getting caught by the lingering cold becoming a (metaphorical) death sentence for casual thugs, as well as being able to freeze over entire buildings if he feels the need (although doing so is all the ice he can make in one post). ❄️ COLD BODY - Haru's body is cold. Due to the effects of his quirk, his body has a constant chill to it that doesn't produce any combat effectiveness but may make people a bit surprised upon contact. However, after two posts of constant usage, his body will begin to get so cold that any liquids with a 10m diameter, him as the center, will begin to crystallize and freeze partly- akin to lakes with bits of ice in. Every post, enough water to fill a small pool will freeze and crystallize, which can completely freeze a source if there's too little water. People with water-based quirks may find themselves having a problem unless they can either alter the water's properties, keep it flowing fast enough, or control a larger quantity. Water that is frozen by his quirk is normal ice and can be melted just by lying around, unlike the ice he creates. (water that will be frozen is decided oocly.)❄️ ICE SHEET - Probably one of the most obvious applications of his quirk, Haru can create a sheet of ice along an area, either from his hand or another body part. The sheet must start from a surface (such as a wall or floor) from where his hand is a few centimetres from. He can extend the slide to go up to 30m away from his person, either creating a surface he can slide on (he’ll go around 100mph), a shield that’ll block incoming strikes or a diversion that can push people back. At this level, his ice is about the durability of thick steels. ❄️ PIERCING ICE - An offensive part of his quirk, this technique allows Haru to create spikes of ice that come out of surfaces coated with his ice. He can create a thin sheet of ice along a surface (20m diameter max) to create spikes that extend, max, three meters in length and can stab through common steel. He can create a maximum of six spikes while using this per two posts, with one post of buffer in between. (the counter starts on the first post of usage, then he can use the remaining spikes in the same post or on the next post- though, no matter what, he cannot restart this counter until the two posts are over.) As well, by using two of his six charges in this time frame, Haru can create large spikes of ice that extend up to 25m from the bottom of the base to their highest point. Their bases can go up to 30m wide and these large spikes can take chunks out of a building, requiring two well-placed large spikes to make an average one fall. ❄️ ICE MOUNTAIN - Another obvious application of the ability to create ice, by putting both of his hands on the ground, he can create a mountain of ice that’s around 30m tall, coating anything in a 40m diameter in ice. This ice has the durability of thick steel and is a tad tricky to bust through, though it’s hard to look through due to the cloudiness. Objects caught in the mountain’s trajectory are either trapped within or pushed forward, objects weighing 4 tons or less being brought up as the mountain is built, though it's possible to break the ice before it reaches you. Using this mountain speeds his post count by two and he can only use it once every three posts. ❄️ SHATTER!! - Something interesting has birthed within the quirk of Haru Suzuki; one thing that differentiates him from other creators of ice- the ability to control that ice post-creation. Currently, by placing his hand on one of his constructs (such as his spikes or mountain) he can create a barrage of icicles that he can manipulate within a 30m diameter of himself. Using these icicles, he can pierce thick steels and cause third-degree frostbite upon contact with skin for three posts, or third-degree frostbite on clothes not made for cold weather for two posts. He can hold control over this ice for five posts before they fall to the floor and he has to destroy another creation of his. He must use the ice created from his quirk for this move and said ice must be as large as one of his spikes, at least. The posts that he controls this ice but does not create any ice counts for his total post limit. ❄️ SUPER MOVE: ARCTIC REALM!! - Haru's first super move, [ ARCTIC REALM ] harnesses the max output of his ice creation. Upon activation, ice will begin to spread from him as the center outwards, quickly freezing up a circle of 50m with random spikes and jagged edges, creating an uneven terrain and "arena" of ice. This may also cover buildings up to 25m tall and coat random objects with ice- open doorways and people will find themself not frozen, though some may find their feet trapped underneath. Because of the ice, the area is immediately turned colder, as water will freeze immediately and people who aren't geared for cold weathers begin to feel shivers if they aren't resistant. If someone stays within the realm for two posts, they may find themselves forming patches of fourth-degree frostbite on exposed skin or third-degree frostbite underclothes not built for cold weathers, only lasting for two posts once they've exited the cold- or one post, if they're immediately brought into a warm area. Haru has increased mobility within the arctic realm, able to form constructs anywhere in the arena that he wishes while still abiding by the normal restrictions that he holds. ❄️ SUPER MOVE: YMIR'S REINCARNATION - His father finally bares his face, reincarnated in Haru's own quirk as a new way of putting his usage to the max. Unlike [ ARCTIC REALM ], this super move allows Haru to surround his own body with ice, becoming one with the properties- his strikes can blow through thick steels, he can move fast enough to become a smudge to untrained eyes, and he inhabits the full effect of cold body- as well, his body gains the normal durability of his ice, making him able to walk through gunfire with ease. He can maintain [ YMIR'S REINCARNATION ] for around five posts before the ice will crack and fall off, then having to wait three posts after that before being able to use this move again. Everything Haru walks over with this move slightly freezes on contact, allowing him to walk atop water, as well as ice constantly inflicting those he hits with third-degree frostbites at least, fourth-degree at worst. If limbs are detached, he's able to reattach them by holding them in place for a post, although this holds true for every piece if chopped up, an arm in pieces will take multiple posts to reattach, if he even has the time- if the limb is shattered into pieces despite the ice's durability, then he has lost the limb- this also means that wounds inflicted prior to activation will heal over the course of five posts, deep gashes and near-life threatening injuries taking three posts to reform while light cuts and bruises take only a post. » DRAWBACKS: The ability to control ice is a power that, through the showing of Cutthroat, has shown to possibly be very destructive. The one major drawback to this power would be Haru’s body temperature regulation- as he uses his quirk, his body temperature drops steadily for each post of utilizing. With his current level of control, he can maintain around six posts of usage before he begins to feel symptoms of hypothermia. While not enough to kill him just yet, if he goes beyond his six safe posts of usage, he begins to feel his breathing get shallow and his body shivers uncontrollably, making it difficult to continue fighting. If he uses it for once more after that, then he’ll lose consciousness for two posts, until his body warms up. His quirk “winds down” for every post he uses it, maxing out at two posts of cooldown. He must not use his quirk at all during a post for it to wind down once. Another drawback would be the fact that he’s using ice to fight- its melting point is around gold at this level. If exposed to a flame hot enough, it’ll take a post to melt completely, so he can still get off a hit or two- but he won’t be able to maintain his sheets of ice that allow him to utilize his techniques, while flames hotter will probably melt it near immediately. For [ ARCTIC REALM ], the first major drawback is that it immediately drops Haru's body temperature to damage levels, not allowing him to create constructs of ice for a single post after it's up while suffering mild shivers and shallow breathing. After one post, he'll be allowed to use his quirk once more, yet usage will be limited because of how the cold affects him as well, dropping his total post usage from six posts to four posts, needing three posts to warm up again compared to the normal two. While Haru's ice cannot melt normally, the cold air will eventually warm up once more after six posts of lingering, meaning that those without the proper clothes will feel as though they're in the middle of a harshly cold winter's day, rather than the frostbite-levels that it starts out as. Finally, as he is a hero, there is an issue of his ice causing issues post-battle. The only way to remove his ice is either to melt it, destroy it and discard the scraps, or for him to shatter it himself. Similar drawbacks occur for Haru's [ YMIR'S REINCARNATION ], although only the parts about him not being able to use his quirk for a post after activation while suffering shivers. After exiting the ice-covered state, he'll immediately be under another post of quirk shivers and being unable to use it. OTHER ABILITIES SWORDSMANSHIP BRONZE | NOVICE | COMBAT On Haru's hip normally sits a saber in sheath, a blade that he has chosen as his method of combat. Quick and precise moments are used to try and whittle down an opponent's stamina, jabs and slashes being minimal in movements. As of now, Haru is adequate enough that going against another amateur is doable, but a small crowd of inexperienced fighters would still be a struggle for him. He's also getting stronger, being able to slice through materials such as wood. Dull eyes are probably the first thing people will notice once you look past her white hair, a symbol of her personality which lacks a lot of energy. Her voice is often soft, unless she really wants to get a point across, and she won't say 'no' if you try to pull her along with something she isn't 100% against. She doesn't really understand feelings such as guilt, especially when it comes to murder, but she still knows not to mess with those she cares for in ways that'll make them angry with her.
Wanting to research as much as she can of the human scriptures around Yggdrasil, she loves reading into the many stories of Mythos, though her understanding of a lot of it is muddled with scattered thoughts. She's rather warm-hearted despite her criminal urges and can be loyal to those she both respects and cares for. While she puts up the front of a dull and cold person, seeing through such a facade is easy when you become closer with the girl.APPEARANCE | » HEIGHT: 5'3"

With hair as white as snow, the girl's entire figure would be one that would get eyes from suspecting individuals. A frail body with hair that lacked any colour, skin as cold and pale as death itself, and eyes as oaky as the trees that populated the many forests. If one were to get near her, the natural smell would be related to old books and that faint vanilla that penetrates the air. Her stature is a bit short but not too much, meaning she can't use her height as a way to hide too often, and she's pretty light due to her improper eating.
While her villain costume may consist of only a fox-like mask, there exists some special properties within the wood-sculpted apparel that she has obtained. Upon putting it on, she had felt an odd link with it, allowing it to morph and change forms depending on something very important; her desire- otherwise known as that mind-searing voice in the back of her head. When taken off / in a neutral state, the mask's surface is a simple coat of white, no markings showing. As she begins to feed more into those desires, red markings begin to form along the white surface, starting with the eyes and ending with the sigil in the center. The point in which the mask's pattern finishes would be considered her point of 'mania', when her limits are gone and she's fully willing to inflict harm on others. Once this mania subsides, the mask's markings begin to glow a gentle red during the high that follows. The mask will return to its neutral position within a few minutes or hours.
If you see her with her neutral state, then she's probably just taking a casual stroll, preparing to do something, or wearing it to hide her identity for a meeting. Once it starts forming markings and shifts into the mania mode, you better get away if you can't take her; it's more likely than not she's willing to sink her blade into people. Lastly, if you get to witness the soft red glow, it's probably too late.HISTORY » LIFE IS RARELY "FAIR" «A statement that most can agree with, only those at the top will argue if one were to say such a thing. Perhaps, in this case, the gods were a little more harsher with the treatment of a girl with dulled eyes and cold skin, lying half-dead in the alleyways of a random Scandinavian town with nothing but tattered rags and a blade that was far too high quality of a craft to possibly be the girl's possession. As the rain fell heavy, her body remained lifeless- until a couple had found her on their walk back.
The pair were odd, immediately going for the girl's rescue rather than walking past- no one would've blamed them if they had left her alone, for her backstory was a mystery to them and, soon it'd be obvious, the girl herself. Her eyes remained dull, a deadpan gaze as the girl slowly regained her sanity. She had no scars, no wounds, yet her body was laid to die from hypothermia and exhaustion, her body frail and thin from the lack of any food. It was a horrid thing for the Kvalheim couple to witness- so much so that they were compelled to drag the girl from the streets into their warm home.
Days passed by as she was slowly nursed back to a stable person, face still void of much expression yet warming up slightly as the two adopted the girl as their own, the name of 'Aina' being given to her as she lacked any memories prior to being found in the alleyway- yet, the most odd thing would be her insistence that she was in Yggdrasil prior to showing up there, though she can't remember anything she had done there. Another oddity would be her knowledge of multiple languages, including the likes of Scandinavian, Japanese, English, Russian, and Mandarin. She was quite the oddity and topic of discussion around the town as she began to slowly make her way into the world, strolls allowing her to take in the world.
As life went on for the girl, the town slowly began to accommodate her more and more, her life beginning to show promise as they got used to her carrying around the Branch of Yggdrasil, an artifact with her since birth. Yes... everything was going just fine. Until it wasn't. Life faded into black, that cold feeling once again devoured her body as the rain hit the ground within Shinogi, rags on her body that gave her little cover against the pouring rain.
Where was she? Where did everyone go? She couldn't even question why she was suddenly in Japan for she did not know. What would happen next? QUIRK AND ABILITIES Y G G D R A S I L BRONZE | NOVICE | EMITTER/MUTATION » DESCRIPTION «
Quite the oddity of a quirk, the first- and most simple- aspect of Yggdrasil is the fact that, at the top of Aina's head, there sits two white horns. These horns have a rough shape and start from the front sides of her head and extend in an upwards slope backwards. Yggdrasil is the tree that connects the nine realms and, using this quirk, Aina is able to access these nine realms through use of this quirk in theory. Reality is often disappointing, as they say, as her connection is limited- as of the Novice level, she only has access to three levels of Yggdrasil and, even then, can hardly access their full potentials. To tap into any one realm, she must take a post to access the realm, in which her horns will slowly change colour. She'll be able to access the quirk during her next post.HELHEIMR, home of the DISHONORED UNDEAD Helheimr is the land of thieves, murderers, and many other cowardly criminals. Using the quirk's power to tap into Helheimr, Aina still has very little control over what she's able to do and, thus, is only able to call upon the nimbleness of thieves rather than the braun of fighters. When activated, her white horns turn into a shade of grey as her agility and speed increases, able to move her body fluidly and run at speeds of around 15mph.
SVARTALFHEIM, home of the DARK ELVESSvartalfheim is said to hold some of the greatest metalworkers in the World Tree. Using the quirk's power to tap into Svartalfheim, Aina lacks access to some of the even most mediocre metalworkers. When activated, Aina's horns become a shade of dark purple and she's able to create a kind of unknown metal that, at this level, has the durability of wood. She can create basic constructs such as poles and spikes, alongside plates to defend herself. They can control this metal using telekinesis and throw it at people at a speed of 15mph. Spikes and poles span 2m in length while shields are that squared, and she can form up to three spikes or one shield, and she can form two constructs every post max.MIDGARD, home of the HUMANS
Midgard is said to be the realm of the humans, the realm which Aina resides in herself. She cannot activate Midgard, for it is the default realm she is attached to- a hub to allow her to travel to the other realms. She's said it is what allows her to utilize the Branch of Yggdrasil and connects her to the bottom layers of the tree. When it is active, her body becomes incredibly adaptable to the world around her- it'll take her two posts to adjust to natural weathers (including snow, rain, heat, and wind) but nothing life-threatening and poisons have a lesser effect on her, such as pain dulling slightly. » DRAWBACKS « The horns that sit atop Aina's heads are as strong as bone, being extensions of her skull. Having them torn off is not only very painful but will also disable her quirk, without a catalyst to access the realms of Yggdrasil. When torn off, it'll take three posts for a horn to regrow, and she requires both horns to use her quirk.
HELHEIMR, home of the DISHONORED UNDEAD Using Helheimr increases the girl's physical stats, however, they'll also create a sense of fatigue in the aspect that she boosts. If she increases her agility, she'll feel incredibly sluggish and slow after the power wears off. Increasing her strength will make her feel weak, and so on. She can only have Helheimr activated for three posts max, before needing to recoup for two posts and returning to Midgard as a default.
SVARTALFHEIM, home of the DARK ELVESUsing Svartalfheim's power will leave Aina with a temporary metal deficiency while she creates constructs. After creating three constructs, she'll begin to feel fatigue and weakness- most prominently in her arms. After four constructs, her bones will become easier to break as they become brittle, and creating her fifth will knock her out for two posts as she recoups. She can keep Svartalfheim activated for three posts max and must recoup for two posts before activating any other realm, returning to Midgard as a default.
MIDGARD, home of the HUMANS
Midgard will not allow Aina to adjust to anything that would possibly be lethal, poisons that would cause pain being the only thing nullified as are weathers that anyone would be able to sit through, though minus the discomfort. This may allow her to fight in more heated / frigid climates. However, while she's adjusted, if she's suddenly thrown into another climate (hot -> cold), she may be disoriented and suffer minor effects of heatstroke / hypothermia as her body slowly adjusts to the newly introduced climate. BRANCH OF YGGDRASIL BRONZE | BEGINNER | COMBAT A blade that the girl was found with, she connects with the weaponry deeply and holds a great attachment to it. If it's taken away from her, she'll get very panicky and may act rash if it aids in obtaining the sword back. The weapon itself is said to have been made from a branch of Yggdrasil itself, bolstering a sturdy metal of unknown qualities- though, as of now, it can begin to whittle down at wood. As Aina's connection with Yggdrasil deepens, she expects the sword's strength will follow close behind. She normally uses the sword with its sheath on, as drawing the sword will make it ignite, causing strain on the girl's body, though that isn't to say it isn't dangerous- the cutting power is still there! She isn't likely to win most fights at this level, barely able to go against another beginner.
When ignited, the Branch of Yggdrasil (what she names the sword) begins to tap into her quirk's potential and draws out one of the nine realms inside it. As of now, she can only really pull out a single realm and, when igniting, she begins to feel a pain that drives her nervous system into overdrive, subsiding after the ignition has finished. There are drawbacks associated with each realm, however. Failing to sheath the blade (after an ignite) will have the scabbard reform around the sword, as if it is growing over the steel blade, and the previous scabbard will rot to dust- despite its metal-like appearance. The realms she can currently access are as follows; MUSPELHEIM, home of the FIRE GIANTSThe first aspect of the blade's ability to ignite, calling upon the realm of Muspelheim will light the blade in a solar red upon drawing it from its scabbard. Cuts with this ignite, at the highest output, will cause a light char and light first degree burns that last for around a post, that is, if she can even land a hit on you! The ignite for Muspelheim lasts for two posts and, after it is finished, she must sheath the sword and she'll begin to feel a fever that'll leave her without the ability to fight for two posts. Upon first glance, Akagi's laid-back personality that draws him towards more 'fun' things in life may make some believe he's simply a slacker, however, he's just an optimistic bundle of energy that works hard to support his constant 'need' to hang out with friends. He's rather protective of the people who do come close to him and his tolerance for their actions lightens, whether that be bad or good, as he doesn't wish to enter a conflict (little or large) with those people he calls dear. It could prove complicated if a friend like that decided to do something illegal, but so far, nothing of that sort has occurred. Usually one to check up on his friends often and the one to start a conversation with a simple 'hello' even if he lacked an idea on what to converse about prior, no matter what his other friend was doing. A pale complexion that has a large contrast to the deep maroon eyes that most are drawn to, alongside the oddity of pure white hair, that would be the first impressions of Akagi for most passerby. His near-average stature that is accompanied by what seems to be a barely healthy weight for a boy his size and that'd be his physique. His hair is often rather short and kept to one side or another, overall, pretty basic looking and unassuming. His casual outfit usually consists of some oversized sweater or loose t-shirt with some comfy-looking pants, whatever they may be. He enjoys having very minimal designs on his clothes. Akagi was born into a rather normal household, born three years after his elder sister. His early life was rather enjoyable for a young child who understood little of the world around him-- his parents made sure to take both him and his sister out every so often and to stock up with toys and whatever they wanted which was in a reasonable scope of their income. Quarrels with his sister and normal sibling rivalries on top of life with little conflict, Akagi got used to this kind of life. MIDDLE SCHOOL
Good times wouldn't be good times if they lasted forever. If no tragedy befell the young Akagi, then what would be his sole motivator for aiding others in need? In Akagi's opinion, a natural-born sense of 'justice' just... doesn't exist. It's not possible for someone to be born into the world with naive eyes and believe that they should dedicate their lives to helping others in need. Good times can go downhill rather quickly and that is exactly what happened to Akagi Reijiro's life entering Middle School. Akagi, awake under his covers, heard the smashing of a plate that was the evidence of a father thrown over his limit-- the cause, with a shrill, berated him for displaying his own anger towards her. Parents fought, this Akagi knew well, but he knew not of how severe his parent's fights truly were. Broken dishes left to be cleaned up by an awkward silence once things died down, however, no one was harmed, thus it was 'alright', a simple justification brought to the two parent's minds so they didn't have to separate and possibly harm the kids that they both shared the same affection for. Obviously, these thin and brittle excuses were quickly blown away by the intensity of the storm, created by the increasing conflict between the two adults. Fights had become less about a point and more just to be right, whatever that meant to them. Akagi and his sister would often try to avoid their parents when they were in this kind of mood, as getting in the middle of conflict (or becoming the center of it) was their fear. TURNING POINT
Akagi's sense of justice derives from his own experiences-- his naive life and view was shockingly and suddenly torn apart forcefully by the hands of his father, the door to their small but cozy house wide open as the large hands were wrapped around the frail neck of his mother, the sounds of gasps and sputters coming from the girl until, finally, her body laid limp. Anxiety filled the young boy and his father but for two very different reasons. His father was worried about his own fate after committing this crime-- trying to think of several ways to get out of it. The father didn't even notice his son standing right there-- who was confused. He hadn't noticed it had escalated to this point... was he always this blind to it? Was it maybe his fault for not noticing? His father, now noticing the young boy, panicked even more. After grabbing his son, he had a talk with him, the fear in Akagi's mind compelling him to listen. In the end, Akagi agreed to not tell anyone and backup whatever his father said-- especially if any policemen come and ask him. After a bit, the ambulances had arrived, the story of finding the mother like that after a nap was backed up by the very afraid son-- the loud, blaring sirens alongside his father struck constant fear into the boy. His naive view was shattered... it was evident that he wouldn't be able to go on with his life prior. Everyday, he was constantly sick when around his father, praising the days when he was out. Nearing high-school, he felt like he had to get away, as the act didn't only sicken him-- it was the fact he couldn't do anything to stop it. Maybe if he had gotten help for his mother sooner and didn't listen to his old man's stupid talk to save his own butt, then his mother wouldn't be laying in bed unconscious. He wanted to redeem himself-- thus, he was out to U.A, managing to dodge the topic around his father and simply leaving. He trusted that his sister would be alright-- his father never hurt either of the two siblings and it was evident he still very much loved them-- despite his sickening lies played off as an absolute truth to the freshman who was still oblivious to the situation who was his sister. It was time to end his naive life and start anew in U.A. QUIRK CHRONOKINETIC SHIFT SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | EMITTER
» DESCRIPTION: The very core concept of Akagi's quirk is that it allows him to take kinetic energy, from an item or himself, and manipulate it in some way- as of now, it would be redirection and suspension. He cannot create energy, so to increase the energy of one object, he must decrease another's. Chronokinetic Shift is a quirk that is interesting by the fact that he cannot do anything actively, rather, he must do everything reactively. He cannot suddenly generate the power to accelerate his fist for a punch- he must have gotten that energy from somewhere. Punches feel as though they're striking pillows and blades will simply slide off his body without an incision, depending on their strength, as long as he blocks it adequately. 🕛 KINETIC REDIRECTION - What happens when you take the energy from one object and move it to another? Well, Akagi knows very well! Perhaps the first application to come to mind, the boy can take the energy from one action and redirect it to another. Because of this, physical attacks that can break stone are practically nullified if Akagi is able to react to them, and attacks that would break common steel are more easily endured. Anything above such will make Akagi take the full power but his redirect will be equivalent to his cap. Akagi can choose not to store the energy of the punch, which is why he must be able to react to the punch, but if he does choose to, he has the opportunity to redirect it into his own body to do one of three things, and he must do it within a singular post or the kinetic energy will make him feel the force of the attack as he would normally. Lastly, he cannot store energy while using any of these forms, meaning he cannot uphold them or active two at a time: 🕐 COUNTER - He takes the energy and puts it back into an attack of his own- named 'counter', Akagi uses the attack of his foe to throw one back- or multiple. When doing this, atop of his own power, he can punch through common steels and shatter stone. This can apply to his fist, his kick, or even his head! With counter, a gust of wind may be formed by his strike, which is intense enough to sweep up objects of 300 lbs or less and knock them back a few meters, including people! Counter can either be used for a single attack to instantly expel all the force- in which the gust of wind would be the written strength- or slowly let it seep out in the form of multiple attacks over the course of a single post, which makes the wind much weaker, only affecting objects of around 50-100 lbs. 🕑 SPEEDSTER - By taking this force of the attack, he takes the energy and applies to his legs to increase his speed. While lacking the offensive capabilities of the first application, this one allows him to run away at full force! When he does this, alongside his own enhanced agility, he can begin to move his body at a speed of 60 mph, becoming a soft smudge to untrained eyes as he moves. 🕒 TANK - The last thing he can do when taking an attack is to increase his overall durability and endurance. While this makes his body heavier and harder to move, it increases his overall endurance and strength. For up to four posts, his body becomes the durability of common steel and he can carry up to 2 tons. His fists are too slow to throw a punch that can do any damage and his speed moves to a crawl, but he does create craters in the sidewalk as he moves. 🕛 KINETIC CONVERSION - Akagi is able to convert energy that isn't the normal kind he takes in- with this, the slashes and jabs of blades that can slice cleanly through common steels, as well as the raging fire and freezing ice that may hold similarly destructive properties, may be converted to kinetic energy and reduced in intensity (case-by-case basis, discussed OOCly). This allows him to sit in the middle of a blaze just fine, or resist the freeze of a blizzard while fighting onward for whatever cause he believes in- however, he has to use that kinetic energy somehow, else he may suddenly burn up out of nowhere! 🕛 KINETIC GUARD, V. AUTOMATIC - Akagi's body has learnt something very important- pain = not good. With [ KINETIC GUARD, V. AUTOMATIC ], Akagi's body has learnt to automatically block out hostile attacks that may be intending to harm him as long as they don't exceed a specific speed and power. With this, low-velocity bullets and strikes that would break stone may find themselves automatically blocked out by Akagi's quirk, although with the caveat that the energy is dispersed naturally around his body rather than stored for his use. He can only be saved by this up to five times over the course of two posts, which resets on the third post. Akagi is able to disable this automatic guarding if he so wishes, in case he somehow wants to be hurt or wants to absorb the energy rather than letting it disperse. 🕛 KINETIC SUSPENSION - Another application of Akagi's quirk, by putting his hand on a non-organic item (for unmoving items) or by having it connect with his hand (for moving objects), he can temporarily suspend that item's kinetic energy. This leaves it suspended in mid-air and one must hit it with enough force to break common steels to get it moving again. Items that are moving fast enough to break common steels and tougher materials are impossible to suspend at his current level. After a maximum of five posts of suspension, or whenever Akagi wishes for it before that period, he can allow the item to resume its path, or change the trajectory that it'll take- or even feed it with stored kinetic energy, which will add on top of whatever destructive power it has, capping out at the ability to shred through common steel. He does not remove the kinetic energy in this case, simply pauses it. The max number of items he can hold within Kinetic Suspension is five, at the moment, and the total weight of these items must not exceed a ton. 🕛 過負荷 [ OVERLOAD ] - Akagi wants to protect. His entire quirk, rather than a tool to become some unstoppable beast, is evidently supposed to be used to protect lives- and this super move is probably a birth of that desire. Upon activation, Akagi's quirk immediately kicks into overdrive, anything that is currently moving within a 25m diameter bubble (with him as the center) will suddenly stop- bullets that are whizzing through the air, rubble that is raining from the sky, or the flying punch of an ill-meaning foe. If the object is not grounded / attached to a person, they will simply lose their momentum, as if their fist suddenly lost all of its acceleration or their kick stopped dead in its tracks- they can resume their strike once they regain their momentum, however, objects that are detached from the ground / are in the middle of the air will find themselves trapped in the air, the kinetic energy zapped away from all of them, remaining there for five posts or until Akagi releases them, as long as all of these objects fit under the limitations of the other parts of his quirk- this also means that, if there's enough debris and mayhem in the air, Akagi can redirect it all and fling it somewhere else; the more destructive one has been, the more this super move will bite them in the butt. But that isn't the end of it- at this point, it's obvious Akagi's quirk follows a simple rule. All of this kinetic energy- it has to go somewhere, and that place ends up being Akagi's own body. After everything has stopped its motion, Akagi will find himself with a great deal of kinetic energy pent up in his body, giving him a multitude of physical enhancements, although he cannot store kinetic energy during this period, only expend it. This form, nicknamed [ 勢い ] (MOMENTUM), gives Akagi the ability to endure attacks that would break through common steels and breakthrough the same material with his punches, move fast enough that his body somewhat smudges to untrained eyes and leap up at least four stories. When this form is active, Akagi's body glows a soft yellow as crackles of lightning form around his body- what he assumes is the physical manifestation of too much kinetic energy. He can maintain this form for around five posts until he's out of juice.
Alternatively, he can put all of the energy into one punch, the move named [ 進歩の勢い ] (FORWARD MOMENTUM) to end the form early, which decreases in intensity with every post that passes- at its max, however, the punch may make the ground beneath them tremble and a building form cracks, nearly crumbling from its might- although it'd take another few punches (3-6) of his normal counter for the building to even get close to falling, it'll surely cause some instability, and maybe even blow through some tough defences when needed! Another way to disperse this energy, with the same caveat of it becoming less intense the farther into his quirk he is, is by releasing it all around him, creating a strong gust of wind, the move named [ 外向きの勢い ] (OUTWARD MOMENTUM) that'll blow back items up to 10m away from his body- at max output, the power of the gale is the strongest in the center, blowing back things as heavy as cars back a few meters while they'd only shift a few centimetres at the farthest point. This is used when Akagi wants to create distance or blow away a bunch of debris in a danger zone. » DRAWBACKS: As said before, Akagi's quirk is purely reactive. He cannot activate it willy-nilly, rather, he must be responding to something happening. Punches that would not break wood have too little kinetic energy to convert and the act of bouncing a ball off the wall wouldn't be enough to activate it, either. As well, while he can zap some of the power of attacks stronger than his max, he won't be able to weaken the blow from them. Lastly, he must use the energy stored from his quirk within a post, else he'll suffer the blow normally. If he cannot throw a punch, he cannot dispel it through that method- as well as being unable to dispel it if he cannot run. Atop of this, he also has a limit to how much kinetic energy he can withstand pent up. At this moment, he can withstand eight attacks that would break stone, or five attacks that would break common steel each post (two stone-breaking = one low-grade metal breaking). While he cannot use the energy from weaker level attacks (unless they're in an abundance, determined case-by-case), he can withstand up to ten attacks from those who can break wood or twenty attacks from those who can make cracks in wood. As well, his quirk does have some time limitations! If he uses his quirk continuously for five posts, he will encounter a phenomenon known to him as 'Kinetic Lock'. He must wait for two posts after using his quirk to restart the post count usage and, if he doesn't use his quirk for a post but uses it the following post, the counter starts from where it left off. Kinetic Lock is when he begins to feel strange feelings due to his quirk's effects as it goes haywire on his body. For a post, his body will begin to lock up randomly, arms and legs speeding up and slowing down (or completely stopping), and after that post, he cannot use his quirk for another. This phenomenon shows up immediately after his super move finishes, which takes place over a three post cool down, which also entails no super move usage for three posts after that. For the first post after [ 勢い ] finishes its limit, or he expends the energy early, he'll be in immediate spasms, instantly dropping to the ground as his body moves in unwanted ways, only able to somewhat get up and run away if his legs don't give early. The second post, the effects lessen in intensity, but is still there- more so the locking up part rather than the speeding up and slowing down, but it's still getting in the way of his fighting. The last post, before his three post wait until the next usage of overload, will have him somewhat locking up but still relatively okay to go on the defensive. For these three posts, he cannot store and use kinetic energy. OTHER ABILITIES KINETIC SCRAPS BRONZE | NOVICE | COMBAT Akagi is not a proficient fighter; this much is obvious by the way his body moves. However, he has learned a little bit of technique from his training session with Lucas. At this level, he's unlikely to win any fights except for those who had never held their fists up before, but he's getting better! This technique using a defensive form to disarm opponents and whittle away their defences. For now, he may get a loose grip on your weapon, but his ability to throw hands in your face is still a bigger threat- only in comparison, sadly. ENHANCED AGILITY BRONZE | NOVICE | SKILL Akagi, as a child, was a much more athletic person than others in his class. Often opting into things such as track meets and anything that had to do with going faster than others. After a few recent events, his agility is becoming nothing to really scoff at, his speed equating to that of a high school athlete and agility nearing levels of an experienced gymnast. ENHANCED REFLEXES BRONZE | NOVICE | SKILL Akagi's reflexes are a bit better than an ordinary person, able to dodge a few more punches than others, resembling that of a captain of a non-professional sports team. He's nothing superhuman at this level, though it does help with his quirk a bit. » NORMAL APPEARANCE: Ren is pretty average for his age, standing at 5'7" and weighing 133 lbs, making his body quite slender. His posture is normally quite refined and would show that he knows his manners yet his public attire is commonly large sweaters. When standing around him, he gives off a unique... lotus-like smell, a fragrance you would take in if you were to roam through a garden of lotuses, yet with a hint of ash behind the pleasant and sweet smell of a normal lotus. All along his upper body is burn marks that were obtained through outputting a little too much power through his quirk, and thus, his quirk is currently unable to heal the severe burns. He covers these up with bandages that go to a little bit above the bottom of his neck. » VILLAIN COSTUME: Ren's villain costume is a relatively simple combination. A black hoodie with blue stripes near the top of the arms, a black face-mask with a small device that modulates his voice enough to avoid familiar faces on the field finding themselves knowing his voice. When things really get into it, he also wears a visor on front, usually reserved for when he either feels like wearing it or the mission calls for that extra bit of protection. The suit acts as some natural armour but fails to shield a lot of critical blows due to its light weight nature which allows him to get more maneuverability using his preferred fighting style. [ FULL SUIT ]HISTORY On the day of the 21st of September, Ren Fujisaki would be born into the living world into a family with a long lineage of wealth and success, the family business raking in a large amount of this supposed wealth. This meant, as a child, he was offered the best possible life he could be living. The Fujisaki's business was muddled with rumours, however, and his father did little to tend to such a brew, not wanting to get mixed up in even more scandals that would surely impact his business. As a child, however, Ren could barely understand the impact of such rumours and didn't care for the world of adulting, simply wanting to live through his childhood with innocence. Growing up, he rarely interacted with those surrounding him, especially when it came to his private school. The arrogant nature of many kids put him off from the idea of making friends, not wishing to meddle with those who disregarded respect for others so blatantly, leading to him being the subject of such disrespect. The only thing that had protected him from severe harassment would've been his family name, the children having a much more in-depth understanding of their future than the boy had. However, his childhood wasn't all horrible and filled with loneliness, as he had those around his manor to interact with. The servants that tended to his daily needs, the maids who roamed the hall occasionally, and most important of all-- the daughter of the manor's gardeners, Hanako Chiaki. An odd girl, she was. It was evident to him that, upon the first bit of contact, she knew little of who he was and his family background. Ren knew naught how long she had lived in the manor but she didn't know his identity, which was welcomed by Ren and was the start of a bit of a weird friendship. Their first meeting was a bit of a train wreck, Ren accidentally stepping on the girl's garden and angering her, enough to get a lengthy scolding by the young girl, just sitting and taking it instead of pushing his authority as heir to the business who had hired the girl, both not wanting to make things awkward and ruin a possible friendship. He was glad the girl hadn't asked of his origin nor how he got into the manor grounds, she simply cared about his foot coming in contact with her ever-important 'garden'. Recalling such events, he found it how funny how little has changed. Excelling at his studies as he grew older, he began to care less and less about the people around him throwing his name through the mud, getting more and more risky with their word choices as they realized his lack of wanting to be involved. He enjoyed his days filled with meeting the gardener's daughter secretly, studying, and communicating with the servants surrounding him. His father lacked the time to talk with him as did his mother, who was said to always be by his father's side. A little while into his high-school years, he was called into his father's study for an unexpected meeting. Upon entering, the stern look of his father was something common for Ren to experience, with his only interaction being family meetings. A quick exchange later, Ren was told to begin attending 'lessons' at a local dojo of sorts, one that he had never heard of. The man who governed the location was old and the area itself ran down, a place that a person like Ren would be expected to never go within a 10km radius of. Upon entering the run-down shack, the man had simply told Ren to pick up one of the training weapons on the side-- a large stick with a crescent blade on its perch emulated through the woodwork-- and fight. The oddity of it all barely had struck the boy by the time he was swept and left on his bum, his weapon slid on the floor to one of the far corners. The old man's body, while looking frail, was rather nimble and strong-- a surprise to the boy who had thought of him as nothing more than some random elderly man. ``You will learn this style,`` the man began speaking with his old and raspy voice, looking down at the astonished boy, ``and you will master it.`` His words were few, yet they struck powerfully into Ren, the boy who had more to process in this... weird situation. To pile on top of that, the man went on to explain his parent’s identities, a group of two Villain’s who were brought up in the small dojo that he ran, learning the ways of what he called the ‘Blooming Scythe Arts’. Ren was at a loss for words. The lack of parental presence during his growing years suddenly made sense, the two parents off doing Villainous missions-- as did the odd rumours surrounding the business. Of course, their success proved either they were pulling strings behind the scenes or those rumours had no real substance and could be purely coincidental. He was told to stay in the dojo, whether or not it was to protect his parent’s identity or simply for training purposes, he couldn’t discern. Following the next few months, he’d be practicing several things-- primarily the Blooming Scythe Arts, only able to access the fundamentals of the style, alongside improving things such as his pain tolerance and reaction time. His teacher had discerned his quirk too dangerous to train, and thus, he was told never to use it. His new home resided in the dojo, away from the many servants that roamed the halls and talked with him-- it was sad, sure, but he slowly got used to his circumstances. He was still allowed to go to the manor to converse with who he could, which would mostly be spent with Hanako. Naturally, he couldn’t tell people of his current housing situation nor what he was doing there and it wasn’t as if he couldn’t just quit-- it was his duty to train like he had as heir to the Fujisaki business. His parent’s couldn’t make as big an impact as they would’ve liked with their infamy and thus came the decision to send their child to train. During this time, a small romance bloomed between the gardener’s daughter and himself, despite her failing to admit her feelings at any moment due to her personality. Ren neglected to pull it out of her, the relationship never becoming official due to his fears of the future. However, something particularly concerning was brought up between the two unofficial lovebirds-- talking of a arranged marriage between Hanako and someone else, due to her parents getting caught up with people of poor nature. On top of such an unwelcoming situation, it seems she was in a horrible state, though she wouldn’t relieve why to him so easily. It wasn’t hard to notice a distinct change in her personality, however, which left Ren confused for a bit. Her state had concerned the boy and, after a talk with his teacher, he had brought the girl away from her dangerous situation into the rundown shack that he had grown accustomed to. A small bit after that, now that Ren didn’t have to worry about his villainous upbringing conflicting with their relationship, he made a move that brought it to officiality. Now training alongside his loved one, his resolve deepened to get stronger to protect both her and himself. One day, they would have to leave the dojo, but for now they could remain. QUIRK REALM OF THE LOTUS SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | EMITTER » DESCRIPTION: The petals of the lotus flower gently brush against the blowing wind, giving little resistance to the powerful breeze. Buried in the user’s mental realm, one can visit a peaceful meadow that seemed to go on for ages. In the center of this meadow was a lone stone, and a little ways next to it, two small flowers with calm violet & charred flames. To activate his quirk, he must visualize himself ‘connecting’ with one of these mental lotus, usually by touching it with his hand. Though all he can manage, as of right now, is mentally connecting four of his fingers, for he could seriously damage both his mind and body by trying to push it further. As a side effect of his quirk, some may see sparks of violet or char in his blue eyes, although one has to be looking closely to notice them- they show up in relation to the boy's desire, depending on if he wishes to burn or protect- or even both, sometimes. What was, at first, a quirk with a single lotus, has now evolved to have two flowers sit in the middle of the meadow. Because of this, Ren's quirk has taken quite the interesting turn when it comes to its development- especially when pertaining to the metal realm. There are now two primary parts of his quirk, which have different applications and degrees of control. One of the major parts of his quirk, as if the god's felt benevolent during his creation- Ren has increased tolerance and healing factor when it comes to burns and the like. Although the former of which only applies to flames that are not his own, the latter enables him to heal third-degree burns over the span of three posts, while second-degree require only two, and first-degree only a single post. He's also able to maintain composure in fire hot enough to melt stainless steel, although this tolerance does not affect his own flames. 🌸 « THE ORIGINAL » PURPLE LOTUS - Gentle purple flames flow upwards into the petal's points- the original flower of Ren's quirk, he still does not fully comprehend why he cannot full harness the powers that exist at the core of his power. For some basic stats of this flame, the heat is hot enough to melt rhodium and catch even some resilient fabrics with its blaze- to do any serious damage, one must be fully engulfed in the flame. 🔥 LOTUSFIRE, BLOSSOM! - The activation of his purple lotus- when Ren connects fingers with the purple flames of the flower within his mental realm, the world around him quickly devolves into a blaze of purple. Purple crackles of lightning alongside violet flames erupt with a 20m diameter, with Ren as the center, overlapping where it may connect with walls, creating areas of fire that's far more painful to be within. The fire will deal third-degree burns to those partially engulfed by its flames, but they may increase in severity the more uncovered the area of skin is. Fully engulfed within the flames can potentially kill someone, burning skin to a crisp if someone is stupid enough to go in without protection. First degree burns (when one has proper protection but is not immune) last for three posts, second-degree lasts for three posts, third-degree last for four, and severe burns may require medical attention and may not heal fully without proper attention.
🔥 BUDDING FLOWER -: He can pull the flames closer to him and have it act as a ‘shield’ (the seven petals fold up and surround him, presenting itself as an budding flower, alongside another coating of flames that go around his body), repelling attacks for up to three posts. This shield has the durability of thick steels, though it's not quite titanium-level yet. If the strike is too great for the shield to take, the shield will 'break', spitting fire in random directions (possibly colliding with someone, this 'spitting' can go upwards of 15m away from his body) and would leave Ren very vulnerable as he takes both the pain of the final strike and the pain of the coat of flames over his body. While in the shield, Ren feels so much pain that is he unable to think straight, though he is able to disembark the shield as long as a single post has passed.
🔥 PETAL BURST - Finally, something that shows the hard work Ren has put into his quirk, even if the only amount of control he has is not immediately bursting into a mess of flames. By holding his hand out wide, he can create a burst of purple flames that extends 20m in front of him and becomes 10m wide at its widest point, which would be near the end (in the shape of one his seven petals) that extend outwards, immediately filling the space with his normal level of heat and possibly catching things on fire. This will partially melt rhodium upon the flash and they will continue to melt if the fire is not put out. The boy can only use this flash up to two times in the span of three posts- and, at max, five times a thread. If he tries to use it a third time in the span of three posts or a sixth time in thread, his activation is forced and the lotus will bloom while forcing him to stick to three posts of normal usage. He can only use "BUDDING FLOWER" once during this activation. After using "PETAL BURST", Ren's body feels considerably heated, which makes him feel breathless and hazy in the mind for a single post.
🔥 PETAL FUSION - What happens when you input a massive amount of heat into an object rather than letting it free-flow? Well, you get petal fusion, the act of stuffing one of Ren's lotus' petals into an object and injecting it with the high heat that normally tags along with his quirk. As long as the object is as big as a small house, Ren can push flames into the material and either let it melt or, in the case of it having too high of a melting point, he can rapidly increase the temperature of the innards, which may make it hard to remain inside- both may even happen! This follows a similar ruleset to his "PETAL BURST", but he can only use it once every three posts, and he may only use it twice in a thread. Using it once over either limit will force the purple lotus' activation for a three post span, with full drawbacks. After using "PETAL FUSION", Ren's body feels considerably heated, which makes him feel breathless and hazy in the mind for a single post. 🌸 « THE MYSTERY » CHARRED LOTUS - Unlike the purple lotus who burns a bright violet, this lotus has a charred black for its petals, as if mocking his prior vigilante alter ego- its heat doesn't compare to the purple lotus, either- that doesn't mean it doesn't burn, though. Able to burn through stainless steel and catch fabrics with its blaze, a black inferno isn't as likely as a violet one, but it's still possible! Ren can tolerate the black flame a bit more than the purple one, but it still hurts quite a bit. When the black flame goes over his eyes, an odd red flame shines, giving him the ability to detect thermal signatures through walls that wouldn't otherwise block thermal energy, up to 30m away from his person. 🔥 LOTUSFIRE, BLOSSOM! - The activation of his charred lotus- when Ren connects fingers with the black flames of the flower within his mental realm, a black mist begins to form around his body, starting as a thin veil of black across covered up parts of his skin that had been permanently burned by his quirk prior, which are all covered up by clothes. Upon closer inspection, one would see that these are actually black flames covering his body, although they lack the immense heat that the purple lotus holds- where it lacks in burning ability, however, it makes up in its density and durability. Striking the flames feel as though one may be striking down a thick variation of steel! When activated, you may see some black mist bleeding off from the boy's body, which is a sign that his quirk has been activated. As well, this 'black flame' can be somewhat manipulated by Ren, able to create basic panels (shields) by extending the flame out from his body, or letting it cover patches of his skin in response to an attack. Because he must move the flames around, and he has a finite amount of flame to go around, he cannot cover well against multi-hit attacks or those that move too fast for him to react against.
🔥 DEVOURING LOTUS - An extension of the normal activation- devouring lotus is a technique that puts his black 'armour' to max capacity. Every post under the 'Devouring Lotus' counts as two posts under normal circumstances, which means he can only maintain it for, at max, three posts as long as he activates it from the start. The black flame begins to cover his body more and more, until it fully covers his body. In this form, both his eyes shine a familiar red, while he's also able to create- and maintain- a massive claw with red-flamed tips. One swing from it will leave char marks going across stainless steel, able to crumble the material within the massive grip. It may also lift objects that total up to 2 tons in weight, the ability to leap up to 20m forward with a rapid pace (and move around relatively fast, around 60mph), and give him the same durability all across his body, without needing to shift it around. With this form, everywhere around him considerably heats up, making some start to sweat profusely if under enough layers and maybe even beginning to change some water to steam, removing around a baththubs worth of water within a 1m diameter of him every post under this form.
🔥 BLACK TENDRILS - The opposite application of 'Devouring Lotus', black mist allows Ren to use the black flames by extending them from his body, creating tendrils of flame that may latch onto people and trap them, able to support to weight of up to 1 ton before snapping. The parts where it latches onto will leave burn marks and burn through whatever possible, causing third-degree burns to uncovered bits of skin, second-degree burns to covered bits, and first-degree against those with the proper gear. At his current level, he can support up to eight of these tendrils, having them extend off each of his fingers. He cannot use them during 'Devouring Lotus' and, because of how it works, he cannot guard against attacks if he is using at least five of his tendrils due to lack of flame on his body. These tendrils can be used as a way to trap enemies, whip-like weapons, or even a way to pick up objects, as long as they can withstand the heat. He can either maintain four tendrils of 20m length, or eight tendrils of 15m length.
🔥 BLACK MIST - Something to be careful of, Ren's black mist is when he unfurls the black flames around his body and, instead of giving them some kind of tangible form, he lets it thin out and create a shroud of hazy smoke- by taking a post and steadying his breath, black flames begin to sizzle as the smoke comes off of his body and either fills a dome of 20m diameter and 15m height outside of a building or an entire high-school gymnasium with the black smoke. While inside the smog, Ren cannot use the same defensive moves as he can while the flames are around his body for obvious reasons, however, the visibility of everyone within the smog is dropped to the point that they'll only be able to see things clearly within half a metre in front of them, see shadows at 2m away from their person, and the faint outlines at 4m. The area is also quite hot, as if someone were on a blistering summer's day, causing first-degree burns to exposed skin if exposed for a post, as well as shallow breathing due to smoke inhalation after two posts. Ren is also hit by these visibility limitations, however, he is able to better tune his senses as to feel changes in the smoke's form, able to detect changes in movement within a 10m diameter of his person, better enabling him to predict enemy movements and strike open areas. He can only maintain this smog for, at maximum, five posts- minus the amount of post usage he had operated his normal charred lotus form for, as well as being unable to use it if he is currently using any other application. SUPERMOVES LOTUSFIRE, B U R N ! ! Every good villain needs a brand- a supermove, have you. Luckily, Ren has made quite the development when it comes to his quirk and, while he cannot exactly control it all just yet, he can certainly increase the output of it by quite the amount. Coming from his immense desire to burn, Ren is able to activate this supermove by grabbing ahold of both of his mental lotus' at the same time- perhaps it's stupidity, maybe it's a desire to use more power than he's ready for- whatever it is, Ren is able to draw out more power than normally as long as he is not currently using one of the two lotuses, or under the cooldown of either. To begin the move, Ren creates a dome of black flames around him that spans 25m wide, with him as the center, and 20m tall- this is the max output of his charred lotus. Next, he activates the max output of his purple lotus, filling the area completely with destructive purple flames. The power of this move is able to potentially melt away the supports of a small building and make it crumble under its own weight, burn average people to a crisp due to the intense heat, and cause overall mayhem with its arrival- but such a move carries its fair share of drawbacks, naturally. This supermove is a two-post process, creating the dome on the first post and outputting the flames on the second. If you stop him from finishing the move (i.e knocking him out or breaking the dome), he starts from the sixth post of drawbacks, rather than the first. After the end of the second post, the black fire will fade away as the original purple flames do too- however, anything that has been caught by the blaze will remain burning. He can only use this once per thread. » DRAWBACKS: Ren's quirks are sectioned into each category; one for each kind of lotus, and finally, one for his supermove. 🌸 « THE ORIGINAL » PURPLE LOTUS - Usage of the Purple Lotus grants a heavy toll on the user’s mind and body. The chaotic nature of the quirk means that even the quirk wielder has little control over the safety of himself and others, as well as the duration which they can hold the quirk out for, which is only for around five posts right now. Being the centre of the flower, while his quirk wouldn’t injure him so badly as it may someone else, it definitely does put quite a burden on his body. While none of his burns are permanent, they do cause tremendous pain not only during but after use of his quirk, taking one post after quirk deactivation to get past the worst of it, two posts after that to get past the leftover incapacitating pain, and a final two posts to brush off any more aches that are left in his body which would still affect his combat ability. He cannot activate his quirk for the first three posts after deactivating, and that time increases if he activates it while his body is still healing the previous burns (if he doesn’t wait for the full five posts, the cool down time is increased to eight posts). But the real pain is when his quirk is active. While yes, he does have a little bit of natural tolerance to burning pain, he’s far from the tolerance needed to properly utilize his quirk. Activating his quirk and keeping it active is very difficult for him, as he has to live through the feeling of his skin melting off even though it isn’t. This means he struggles to properly protect himself if he has to battle a foe whom he can overcome to flames that he spits out, his reliance on his quirk finishing the battle being far too great. On top of this, the mental realm previously mentioned is set ablaze, the centre of the hell blaze being the previously calm lotus. He must stay connected to the lotus which, with his untrained mind, is a serious mental task that is difficult to keep up, until his quirk deactivates and the hell blaze ceases. Luckily, mental burns are way easier to overcome than physical burns it seems, because by the end of the two post quirk, it would take him a single post to regain his full mental composure, decision making becoming more rash and his actions being less thought out during the brief period. Due to these factors, the first two posts after his quirk uses renders the quirk wielder near completely vulnerable, their only ability to fight back being their pure fighting ability. There’s also the chance of his quirk activating due to something like trauma or a strong emotional stimulate, causing his quirk to burst out uncontrollable when he doesn’t want it to and having to suffer the two post limit, unless he can calm down by then. If his quirk is still in cool down mode, then it will activate it at first chance it gets if his mental state is still in tatters by the time that post comes around. 🌸 « THE MYSTERY » CHARRED LOTUS - A little more interesting than the purple counterpart, Realm's charred lotus still brings its own difficulties when it comes to attempting to control it- and, because it's Ren's quirk, the tremendous power it has comes with a great deal of drawbacks that make using it quite the last-resort. While it surely is painful to use the charred lotus, it is actually bearable this time around- kind of. While Ren is using it normally, he can maintain it for around five posts before the burns get to him, requiring three posts of cooling down before his burns heal- the first post of which is the worst, which may lead to a triggering of his purple lotus activation if he isn't careful (which is normally not possible). After finishing the use of his charred lotus, he cannot use either lotus' until the cooldown has finished, unless it is forced from mental strain. When under Devouring Lotus, the flames devour the boy's body, putting him through a great deal of pain- though, unlike his reaction during the purple lotus, this time it is responded to by greatly diminishing the boy's thought processes, relying on his survival instincts and desires to make decisions- that is to say, if he wants to punch your face, he'll punch your face. After activating 'Devouring Lotus', it is impossible to disable it until it is over because the pain makes Ren focus on nothing but the lotus. The afterwards scales with however long he's had it active for- if he only used it for a single post, he'd start from the third post of drawbacks, and the rest is self-explanatory. On the first post of cooldown, the black flames dissipate and Ren immediately feels an immense surge of pain as his skin is visibly reddened and, even in some parts like his hands, bubbling. The second post, the bubbling has ceased, but the pain is still very much there- he cannot think straight but still can fight to survive. Third post, the redness has faded and he finds himself short of breath, entire body running the equivalent of a fever. He cannot activate the charred lotus for another two posts after this if he had used this technique for two or three posts. 🌸 « SUPER-MOVE » LOTUSFIRE, B U R N ! ! - Ren has been through this song and dance many times before. Using this move, however, leaves Ren with pain equivalent to the kind felt upon his first bout of overexertion- before he had known better. During the first post of usage, Ren begins to feel immense heat wave over his body- his skins begin to redden, but this is just a bad omen for what's to come. Second post of usage, the violet blaze consumes the arena, completely enveloping Ren's body in the flame and putting him through hell- his nerves feel as if he is burning to death ten times over, his brain is overloaded with signals that it becomes difficult to keep up- through and through, he is being fried just as much as anyone else is. Then, come the posts of cooldown- there exist seven (technically ten) in total. The first post is spent in immense pain, completely unable to think as his skin bubbles, causing people second-degree burns if they hold their touch down on his body for too long, tears immediately sizzling away as they come out. The two posts following that, his skin ceases its bubbling and the wounds inflicted to those who touch him is downed to first-degree, although he is still relatively unable to think, only able to squirm and try and dodge whatever someone may be hurling at him. The two posts after that will see general redness and some recollection of thought, fighting ability hindered but kind of present, thoughts slowly recovering. The final two posts are spent discarding the remaining redness, Ren's personality slowly recovering as he's able to use his scythe once more and fight to his full ability. Finally, after all of this, both lotus' in his mind will be wilted and require three posts to regrow- in which he cannot tap into either power, which means he becomes, essentially, quirkless. OTHER ABILITIES BLOOMING SCYTHE ARTS SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | SWORDSMANSHIP The boy’s preferred method of combat would be an impractical, yet flashy, use of a large scythe with a sharp blade. Despite its initial view of impracticality, the use of the large weapon has a few advantages, with its sturdy hilt giving a lot of space for the user to move their hands along and use to guard, and the odd shape of the blade allowing for more creative strikes that a straight laced blade such as a normal sword would fail to give. His current form makes it so that inexperienced fighters would find themselves a major uphill battle if they forgo banding together and experienced brawlers will also find themselves in quite a struggle of a one on one. The fighting style heavily relies on fast movements alongside unpredictable swings and spins of the scythe, the blade being able to cut through stone normally. Due to his training and real world experience, he's able to fluidly move his body and easily traverse moderately complex terrains, such as some war-torn battlefields and rocky roads, but the true chaotic scenes will still have him slipping. Ren's new scythe holds a special metal in it that, when swung repeatedly with speed, will begin to heat up as he fights and land blows. During his first post of fighting, the metal gets a tad bit heated, able to maybe melt an ice-cream cone if it's sitting within its very close proximity. Two posts in, the blade begins to redden a bit and start to sizzle on contact, causing soft first-degree burns to those cut by its sharp edge. Three posts in, the blade has considerably reddened at this point and will leave char marks through materials it cuts through, causing second-degree burns to deep cuts and first-degree cuts to shallow cuts. Four posts in, the blade has fully reddened and will begin to make a 1m diameter around Ren and his scythe warm up, making those begin to sweat and possibly fatigue faster. After five consecutive posts of fighting, the blade will no longer gain heat as he keeps fighting, its cutting power increased thanks the heat, causing third-degree burns to deep cuts and second-degree cuts to shallow ones. The first post after the blade has not connected with something will have the heat drop by two levels, and the second post will have the blade completely cool down, starting from zero. Ren also has an emergency switch on the handle, which will immediately cool the blade down. His blade immediately shoots to the third stage when his black flames strike it, and immediately shoots to the fifth when his purple flames hit it. With his increasing mastery of the fighting skill, Ren has also somewhat developed some kind of finisher, have you- for a single post, Ren can enter a crazed state where he fully taps into his chaotic side, throwing caution to the wind and speeding up his strikes and upping the unpredictability. While under this, the blade of his scythe is able to lob through common steel and his blade smudges with the speed of his strikes, as well as his body moving in unpredictable and odd ways. After this single posts runs out, Ren will need to wait three posts before being able to enter this kind of state again, and the time in between doubling with every usage. It takes a post after this state ends to recalibrate his mind and adapt to what's around him, making him go purely on the defensive after an all-out offensive if his opponent hasn't fallen. ORCHID, REAPER'S A.I BRONZE | BEGINNER | ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE After a recent encounter with his old mentor, Ryoken, Ren has salvaged some scraps from the fight from the fallen demon- the most prominent being the scraps of the Daemon A.I, Ryoken's idiotic "hhh"-speaking artificial intelligence. While the part that Ren received does not contain the full process, he has received snippets that seem to have a heavy dislike for the machine- after shipping it off to someone who would tinker with it, Ren has received an upgraded mask that allows the A.I to interact with the boy using voice commands. At this point, the most the A.I can do is take simple queries that don't go over around 3 or 4 search terms and look at the first page of google, with a search time of a single post- it's slow, but it's a start. CAN'T CATCH THE REAPER BRONZE | NOVICE | REACTIONS A natural sharpness, you could say. Being born to a high class family has little to do with the nurturing of this skill as it manifested. Both through a naturally faster brain and years of trying to dodge (and catch) objects thrown at him by a devilish Hanako, Ren has become able to process situations at a faster rate than the average person, but not by much. His skill has been fostered a tiny bit with new experiences, however, he's still only very much an early amateur in this kind of skill. His skill level could be equated to someone dodging the pitch of a baseball, a slight edge to his perception that lacks a special touch. As well, even if he can process it, if he doesn't have a tool to use his Blooming Scythe Arts, he cannot properly execute a counter to whatever attack would graze him, leaving him needing to retreat from the oncoming attack. GRIM REAPER'S SKIN BRONZE | BEGINNER | TOLERANCE Pain is a big factor whether or not your body acts on an impulse or can think straight. Because of pain, many skills and trains of thought are discarded as survival instincts are triggered, opting for the easiest way to escape from the painful situation. For Ren, pain has been a big part of his life-- not only does his quirk put him through an unbearable pain that he can never see himself overcoming but his childhood friend's antics never ceased to bring a tinge of pain to his skin. Once again, Hanako is a reason for an ability manifesting without proper refinement, years of childhood fighting leading to scrapes, cuts, and bruises. At his current level, Ren can ignore bruises and cuts alongside a weak hit from a blunt force weapon (such as a bat, swung by an inexperienced person). Analytical, cold, yet caring. These few terms describe Eika roughly, his love for data and analyzing showcasing in his Vigilante work and quirk, able to track and pinpoint items alongside detecting radio waves. He has a cold personality at first which only lightens up with the presence of his two most trusted allies-- Milk and Cereal. He has a burning passion of hatred towards Leonardo Vercetti for what he's done and has made it one of his sole goals to essentially murder the boy.
Despite his cold personality, once a switch is flipped, he can put on a pretty scary show. Eika stands at 5'9" (or 175cm) and weighs around 130lbs (or 59kg), which would make him a tad bit underweight. His eyes shine a crimson red, and alongside his pale blonde hair, makes him stand out quite a bit within a crowd of common folk. His body-type would be considered more lean than most with pale white skin stretching along his body. His hair is often dressed as messy and pushed back. His casual outfit consists of a blue overcoat with dark grey sweater, underneath lying a plain white shirt. Wearing black khakis alongside a simple pair of sneakers fitted onto his feet nicely.
» VIGILANTE SUIT: Little is changed when morphing into his Vigilante outfit, deciding to change from a blue overcoat to a thin coat with fur around the neck and cuffs. The main part of his Vigilante outfit would be the mask that he dawns, one with no visible eye holes and a weird design on front. In reality, there is a soft white mesh that lets his eyes project his quirk, coincidentally hiding the source of the projection.HISTORY Eika couldn't remember much about his childhood. Born to an Italian mother and Japanese father, he had taken much of his father's dominant traits, along with the Japanese look. The few things he did take from his mother happened to be both his very pale skin and striking crimson eyes, both of which he finds comforting, for he remembers very little of his mother. Dying at the time of his birth, his early life was lived in poverty as his father tried to support the two within Napals, unable to keep up with both the job market and the costs of raising a child. Leaving him at the doorsteps of an orphanage, Eika was taken at the age of two, able to remember very little of such a time.
Eika didn’t remember much of his early time at the orphanage until he was five years of age, distinctly remember his first memory within the orphanage walls, an odd red-haired girl situated near her. Though confused, very little did he question it, his brain simply placing in phantom pieces. Most of his vivid memories were of the strange red-haired child hugging him incessantly, fragmenting pieces together to figure out the name of ‘Miluka’, which was a little bit too much for lil’ Eika to pronounce, so he simply called her ‘Milk’. Incessant hugging or not, he knew he cared a lot for the girl, and would go to lengths to aid her.
At the age of four, her quirk seemed to hamper her eyesight greatly, so he took it upon himself to aid her with navigating around— ignoring the irony of his quirk and his role to the girl, he was very happy with the role he had placed upon himself and the role the girl had evidently grown dependant on. Leading up to the boy’s seventh birthday, he noticed the presence of a very particular girl who loved visiting— bringing gifts for both Eika and Milk. Though wary of them at first, he slowly began to accept it, and when his seventh birthday came to light, the two were finally taken away to the orphanage.
Wary of the new surroundings, Eika made sure to try his best and protect Milk from whatever dangers there could be. The woman who brought them gifts, known as Morta, seemed to ease those worries quite easily. Despite the obvious distrust towards their caretaker, Eika seemed to believe in Morta quite fervently, following her quite blindly due to the fury of gifts that lead up to their introduction to the ‘compound’ they stayed in, unknowing of the true intentions of their location and ‘family’.
Due to his blind followership and his child-like innocence, Eika was placed on radio duty. Being taught on how to pick up certain keywords and how to write such keywords and notes, for a moderate part of the day, he would be sitting at a desk and writing down those keywords onto a notepad, knowing little of what they meant nor what they were being used for. He would get antsy without contact with Milk, so to prevent him from emotional turmoil, the caretakers often let him step out for a bit and let a stand-in fill in for a bit. It seems his analytical nature and quick learning self was simply just better for the job since they’d often prefer him to be the one to do the job.
After two years of being situated within the compound, getting used to his schedule of jobs and smaller amounts of time with Milk, Eika came across another girl who’d he hadn’t really seen before— going by the name Amore, she seemed to also be a part of the same compound, though her job had differed. Eika hadn’t really understood her job with the way she described it, though instead of pursuing the topic, he simply let it go. Over a few days, the two began talking more and more, becoming friendlier with each other. Eika’s small group of two would now introduce a third force, who only proceeded to introduce a fourth person— one by that name of Leonardo Vercetti.
The group hit it off pretty quickly, growing up together and relying on each other. Though there was something evidently… not right. Something that just didn’t sit well. The group of four meshed well and went through quite a bit, even watching the two new appearances in the group (Amore and Leonardo) hooking up down the line. The creation of the ‘Breakfast Club’, a silly idea by Leonardo that stuck with the few, occurred after the blunder of Amore’s blunder of her own alias, Eika’s new nickname now being ‘Bowl’ and Leonardo getting the short stick and receiving the name ‘Spoon’.
Everything was all and good, things were going well. The crew had aged quite a bit, with Milk being around 16 on the younger side and Amore nearing 20 on the older side. Eika had lost his previous child-like innocence and, despite his pure disgust in the Mafia system, he feared leaving— he knew he couldn’t protect Milk from the world. He knew he couldn’t protect anyone with how he was. But at least he had everyone… right?
A commotion filled the compound, word spread quickly of a betrayer. One of a name ever so familiar to Eika, one that made him feel horrible with both disgust and envy— betraying the family and even abandoning his punishment? Did he just leave them? No word or anything? Angry. That’s what he was. He was absolutely pissed. After the commotion died down, he knew little of what the other two thought of Leonardo’s betrayal, but the mood was definitely downspirited. A few months passing his betrayal and as life began slowly resuming, the three remaining Breakfast Club members were called by Morta. A brief explanation was given and their mission was clear— they were to kill Leonardo Vercetti. Obtaining fake identities and packing for Japan, no matter what the three were individually told or made to believe, they were on their way to Japan, following Leonardo.
Upon arriving in the city of Tokyo, once establishing their home and unpacking their stuff, Eika knew he had to get some work done. While his two allies settled down and got comfortable with their new lodging, he was already in the streets breathing down the neck of any opportunity of cornering down the Italian Stallion. He began to hunt down Villains of differing abilities, though all rather weak, just to find any clues as to Leonardo's current whereabouts.
Word of his Vigilante name, Bowl, began to spread around the criminal underworld as he started to take down more and more people in desperate attempts of catching onto a lead or at least picking up a piece of a large puzzle. In the end, he had found out enough by scouring the web and sightings of his description when talking to some of his victims, but his supposed impact on the Villain world was already present.
Different rumours spread, some about his ability to track a villain no matter where they hid, some about the ability to analyze an opponent and calculate his best course of action, but it was pretty evident that the new Vigilante on the block wasn't just about sheer power, instead, he seemed to bring something rather new to the table-- the ability to gather information efficiently. QUIRK AND ABILITIES THE AKASHIC RECORDS MASTER | MASTERY | EMITTER » DESCRIPTION «
The user projects a hologram from their eyes, the light emitted being able to shine through their eyelids and moving to fit in a space around physical items despite having no tangibility. People can put their hands through the hologram and feel nothing. The hologram emits a small bluish-green light and all its functions are tinted the same colour.By winding up and swiping their right arm all the way, they can bring up a ‘heads-up display’. This display includes multiple indicators that can be moved around and minimized. They can keep up the head-up display for 10 posts. The quirk winds down if deactivated before the 10 post limit, up until the max cool down. (deactivate at 1 post -> wait for 1 post, deactivate for 2 posts -> wait for 2 posts, etc)
Eika’s quirk allows him to minimize certain types of data to be shown in his eyes only, softly reflecting within his pupils but taking up no space in front of him. These details can include: his objectives, the pointer that points towards those objectives, and data he has analyzed through ‘Target, Analyze’ (lines connect object to text, pointing to an observation (ex. connected to face to show ‘anger’)). When he uses this mode, his pupils are a bluish-green. The only action available in this mode is ‘Target, Analyze’, stealth-mode or not. It takes a post to switch in between Incognito and Normal, with him being able to start the quirk up in either mode. While in incognito, he can still bring up his map and other tools, although they won't be as detailed. BASIC TOOLS ○ Basic survival tools such as a compass and thermometer. The thermometer can detect the general temperature around him, however, it can also tell the temperature of an item that they look at with direct eye contact (must see 35% of the item to work) or that they touch. His quirk has manifested a ‘mini-map’ that can be pulled up by swiping up on his large display board. This mini-map, at its current level, is no longer basic and can show details such as walls, what floor something is on through shading, dots to signal where his targets are, and obstructions that his quirk may find important to show- he has an odd understanding of what is on the map, even if it may look odd to those looking from the outside in. He must have physically seen the wall for it to be marked down properly on the map. These walls are still limited by the large city limit that his map normally has. However, if he has used 'Target, Analyze!' on the area, then he can see the walls with a little more detail-- such as if they're close to breaking, if they have some unusual heat signatures, or if they have some sort of sharp object or perceived trap attached to them.
It can roughly determine the location of a ‘marked’ object as long as it’s, at most, a large city away from his person. There is no longer a margin of error on his map and, instead, marked objects are displayed as blinking dots. These blinking dots do not move and, instead, refresh their position every one of his posts. Basic details of the dot's surroundings, around 50m, is displayed on the map, such as walls. To mark an object, Eika must either touch the person directly, touch a disconnected part of their body such as a clump of hair that fills his fist or pool of blood as wide as his index finger, or touch an item personally connected to them (an item that they have a decent personal connection to). If marked in the latter ways, the marking only lasts for ten posts and, after that, the mark fades and he must use an item that he hasn't used to mark that person yet (he cannot reuse the same item to keep marking, such as the same pool of blood or the same mother of their grandmother).
○ Mental to-do list that displays up to twenty ‘objectives’ that can be mentally noted. Objectives can have complex orders, however, they can only include- at max- five marked objects. This includes an objective pointer for objects that are the focus on an objective and have been touched and ‘marked’ by the quirk. The pointer only works within 160m of the target and, the farther the target, the more rough the pointer would be (margin of error being 0.25m at most). This pointer only points on the closest target.
TARGET, ANALYZE! After a pain in Eika’s right eye got worse and worse, in the heat of action, his quirk manifested a new ability that eradicated the pain and turned it into something much more useful. By maintaining direct eye contact with an item for a whole post (from activation to complete analysis), Eika can analyze basic properties about an item, person, or area around him. The wider the area he attempts to analyze, not only the longer will it take, but the less accurate it will be. When he begins analyzing, a small pentagram-like circle appears with simple yet complex markings around it, which is constantly fluid and moving, the centre circle point darting around at different objects in his vision (see gif below). What he sees, however, is his vision turns into a bluish-green tint as items around him begin to highlight around him as his quirk takes in every variable at his disposal. By doubling the time it takes to analyze, he can shrink the circle that appears in front of his eyes into his pupils only so that it’s harder to notice his analyzing. At his current level, he can currently do the following;
○ PERSON - When analyzing a person, Eika must maintain vision of 50% of the person’s body and he cannot detect movements without full vision of that body part (ex. It cannot process a twitch of the arm if only 20% of the arm is visible). To finish a basic analysis of a person, it takes under a post. However, more complex situations require more time! The information it gives him is limited to and purely an estimation by his quirk: ① Mood, described in 2-10 words. (This is based off their body language and/or facial expression, and is based purely off that.) ② Most Likely Action, success rate rises with more knowledge of person. (This is based off their body language and facial expression, such as where their eye sight may trail to.) ③ Possible Injuries, able to estimate internal injuries based on abnormalities in skin with a high success rate, depending on the amount of data offered. ④ If the person he is scanning is a corpse, he can distinguish a cause of death if there is a hint lying in view, even if it's as small as a penny- this includes possible stab marks, poison residue, clumps of dead skins, etc. This also tells Eika if someone is comatose rather than dead and will give a brief description of the cause (such as "poison" or "blunt trauma"). ⑤ Eika is given a list of five "attributes" that the person may or may not have and gives a rating with filled out and blank stars. These values are based on any contextual clues within his field of vision and previous knowledge, although his quirk's intuition has gotten very accurate, only people with the ability to hide their powers making this ability misfire. The five subjects are "physical strength", "intelligence", "quirk strength", "combat ability", and "threat level". ○ AREA - Possibly the most useful part of this ability is his ability to analyze landscapes and pathways to navigate such landscapes. The marker that appears over his eye is overlapped with a larger one that encapsulates more width when using this function and, depending on the complexity of the area and what he needs to analyze, he could require more posts to analyze something fully. If it’s a pretty basic area with not many objects to take into account, analyzing the area would take under a post to do. However, if there are more complicated variables to take into account (crumbling structures, falling items, etc) then it may take one or two posts to complete-- or attempting to analyze it would simply react in an overload in really chaotic situations. With this ability, he can also see unusual spikes of warmth in an area that could alert him to something going on. The data he can extract is;① Safest and Quickest Path (to goal) ② Possible Hazards (From minimal threats such as a faulty floor board to obvious threats such as an explosive or sharp objects. Trap mechanisms built by experienced people can now be sniffed out if they were detectable if someone were to take a good and hard long look at it. However, seamless traps and those hidden in crevices impossible to detect unless you're the one who created them are still undetectable.) ③ Signs of any Living Organisms ④ Can see if any of his marked people/objects have been in the area in the last week. Helps when tracking someone who is out of range- can see a basic outline of footsteps and some shadows of actions they may have taken, if there are any items that look out of place / tampered with. ○ ITEM - When analyzing an item, to analyze it fully, he must have a direct line of vision and keep his vision trained on it for under a post, or more if the item is complex. If that item were to be swiped from his line of sight in that post, he cannot finish his analysis. When analyzing an item, the basic data he can extract from it is;① Condition of the Item (will tell if it's about to break.) ② What the item (looks like) it's generally used for. ③ Most Fresh Fingerprints, with no identity attached. SAL can store these for five posts and is able to upload it to a USB or computer if given access to one. ④ He can get a general idea of what the item is made up of, being able to discover the durability of something through its material or if there is some kind of poison ingrained into food, stuff such as that. This doesn't work for poisons that have a supernatural ability to hide, completing blending in with the object they've been diffused into. SAL (combat assistance A.I.) | SAL has had quite the breakthrough since it's creation, taking the form of a small blue-haired girl that can show up anywhere on Eika's vision and, while they cannot interact with objects, they can obviously perceive everything Eika can see and more- being able to see things as if Eika had a pair of eyes on the back of his head! Though, unless under "data merge", they must tell Eika like someone in an earpiece. They have a snarky personality but cares for the health of Eika, not out of a sense of survival, but rather as a friend- though they'd definitely be one to deny such a claim! It is a brain for Eika to pick at situations with and challenge ideas with a brain that is equivalent to his own. SAL can do the following: |
① ELECTRONICS HIJACK - SAL is able to place himself into an electronic device as long as Eika has held contact with the device for one post (two posts for the more complex circuitry such as large panels and the like, as well as not requiring a post for the bare minimum- such as a keypad or toy), gaining access to the object and is allowed to do complex actions that pertain to that object only. He can open and close doors, turn on and off a device, and he can use most of the functions of a remote control, given they know what it does. SAL, at this level, can upload themself to servers that have complex, like some high military-grade encryption, protection as long as Eika holds contact with an access point, such as an unlocked laptop, for two posts- or, if he's in direct access with the server, it only takes a single post. SAL can delete certain kinds of files, such as unencrypted text, video, or executable files, though more complex ones may not be deleted, only copied to a USB as long as they don't hold a password or encryption too complex for SAL to properly decipher. Deciphering encryption that is of near maximum security takes SAL two posts while more high-security ones, like those that protect some government systems and low-priority hero association documents, take around a post. At this level, most government systems may face serious threat, although very important ones (such as the hero associations crucial documents, pertaining to threats like Scourges and Vanguards) are still safe. ② DATA MERGE - SAL can merge itself with Eika's mind, taking a post to do so, boosting Eika's ability to notice details and process them faster, his reflexes getting a boost due to this. Under Data Merge, he can maintain it for ten posts, while requiring a downtime of two posts afterwards. During this time, Eika's reaction time is lowered enough to react to mostly anything thrown his way, only the speediest of people able to become so much as a blur in his eyes. As well, at the level of [ MASTERY ], he is further connected with SAL, giving him the ability to catch up with his reaction physically, the strength to punch through and slice through metallic glass and lift up to 100 tons. ③ WEAKNESS ALERT - Obviously more tame compared to the other strong abilities, weakness alert simply alerts Eika of any obvious flaws in the opponent's stance and/or state. If there's a spot Eika can shoot to put him in a good position, and it's within Eika's view, he'll be alerted to it even he hadn't noticed it yet. The more Eika knows about the enemy, the more accurate it is, and it won't pick up hard to notice weaknesses on its own. It presents itself by showing a green box over this 'weak area'. A weakness constitutes as a flaw in the enemies defense that, through some method, can be exploited to put Eika ahead- though the program won't tell Eika what it is, of course. That'd be too easy. ④ PARALLEL MERGE - Merging with Eika's already strategic mind, for a single post (being able to do it every two posts, as long as Eika is not under a "DATA MERGE" cool down), SAL can triple the amount of situations the vigilante can think through by going through a pseudo-data merge that doesn't take as much mental processing. This also increases his judgement and ability to think outside the box astronomically, becoming probably one of the few people who have mastered strategy and deception, the room for improvement becoming smaller and smaller as time goes on. As a result of the method, this is constantly active during his "DATA MERGE". ⑤ STABILIZED MIND - SAL is amazing at keeping things organized and running- because it's the one behind every function of his quirk, it has become rather amazing at keeping things under control. So much so that Eika's own brain has become something within its domain- while SAL is active, Eika is far more tolerant for abilities that would wreak mental havoc and he's able to think through terrifying situations much more clearly than even the most willpower-filled folks. This is amplified to the point of giving perfect clarity even when under a huge amount of stress, although there's still a limit- when he's under enough stress to truly shake every fiber of his being may he falter in thought, such as events that threaten the core of his identity. He also theorizes this is what gives him the ability to heal from the hemorrhaging his quirk would produce when pushed to its limits. CAL1BURN & AEG1S Eika has gotten access to two weapons to include into his arsenal, both which allow him to be more competent when put onto the field. The first of the pair would be Caliburn, which starts as a single blade and splits into ten copies upon being created. When CAL1BURN is created, a green glow takes the weapon's default shape, which would its 'Revelation' form, before the details are filled in. When AEG1S is created, it can form along his body in small patches (max 3m height and width) for a quick guard or from his palm as a larger defense. His weapons are powered by this substance that SAL has simply labeled 'data', which Eika can manipulate in these predetermined forms.♠ CAL1BURN - The world can work in funny ways, the culmination of Eika's quirk giving him access to a weapon called 'CAL1BURN'. This weapon has the unique property that, once formed, Eika can split it multiple times to create up to twenty different clones, all of which are controllable with a mix of physical gestures and intent. The swords have two modes, being 'Revelation' and 'Seraph'. At the level of [ HIGH-EXPERT ], his control is equivalent to that of top surgeons and fighters. He can leave people immobile by cutting specific parts of their body or make an assortment of buildings fall just by cutting their foundations (as long as he knows the general construct details) in specific spots to avoid detection, or simply slice all of them in half with a swift movement if he doesn't wish to be subtle. Each blade can only swap their mode once per post and he must either have all of one type or five of each. He can change every blade from 'Revelation' to 'Seraph', but that will mean he will have to wait until the next post to go back. This weapons always glow a soft green, as they are a creation of his 'data'.CAL1BURN, FORMATION: REVELATION - Revelation is a mode that makes the weapon take on a blade-like appearance, around 30cm in length, with a luminous green power symbol at the center of the bronze-colored hilt, and a green line running parallel to one side. The swords are able to slice through metallic glass and can hover upwards of 100m away from his body. Gestures, such as extending his hand upwards or holding his arms to guard, will make the blades behave in different ways; the former will make the blades pierce in the direction he points, however far he wishes as long as it's within range, and the other makes the blades run perpendicular to a possible incoming attack that allows him to deflect and possibly prevent damage. These blades carry a bit of Seraph's form within them, able to discharge green energy in an albeit shorter range- with this, Eika is able to angle Revelation downwards with outputting this energy, blasting him forward around 100m at a fast pace. This uses up four of his remaining blades and the blades used for the energy output must rest for a post afterwards. After Eika sends a blade ahead for a strike that's beyond 35m away from his person, upon clashing with the target, they are immediately sent back to his person before he can use it again to strike, meaning he can only use these blades at range once per post for each blade.CAL1BURN, FORMATION: SERAPH - The second form, Seraph, allows Eika to fold these 30cm blades into small 12cm 'cannons'. These small blasters can fire shots of green energy that will pierce through steel with a single shot, however, multiple shots (around 4-6) will pierce metallic glass. The blasters have a more limited range, requiring to stay within 40m of Eika, though they can shoot targets upwards of 200m away from their position. Each of his up to twenty blasters can only fire four shots in a post before requiring a rest, refreshing every post. As well, they can fire a straight beam of green energy rather than their normal four shots for a post, able to melt through tungsten upon contact, though this will zap the energy from that blaster for the post. These beams of energy can switch direction mid-shot up to five times at 90 degree angles and can last for a post.CAL1BURN, FINAL FORMATION: A R M A D A - Armada, named after a super move from one of the Vigilante's arguably greatest friends, is a super move that is intended to finish off a fight in a flash. The requirements for this move requires that all of his up to twenty CAL1BURN clones be available and for him to have a clear mind. When initiated, it occurs over a full post, in which people may be able to interfere with the activation. During the set up, all of Eika's CAL1BURN units suddenly shatter and fade, his eyes forming a green circle and gear icon in the center as green outlines form in a circular fashion around him at, max, a 150m diameter. This pushes his creation of CAL1BURN units to the max, forming around 500 - 1000 units (depending on the diameter) which circle his chosen area and begin to charge up. The post after he starts this super move is the time where it'll release, his green hues flaring red as every gun releases a line of energy into his chosen area, creating a massive explosion that will crumble materials with durability akin to metallic glass and reinforced concrete, a crater that goes as deep as 30m forming as anyone caught in the crossfire will most likely be dropped to the ground. The force from this blast may blow items as heavy as 50 tons away from the area.
CAL1BURN, FINAL FORMATION: THOUSAND CUTS - Thousand cuts is a super move that utilizes the "Revelation" style of blade, as opposed to the utilization of "Seraph" in his Armada. When activated, it will take a similar path as "Armada" does, although he'll instead form anywhere from 250 - 750 CAL1BURN units, depending on the area he chooses, which can go up to a 100m diameter. After the blades surround the area, pointing towards the center, he can release them with a wave of his hand, which makes the blades dart around the area at breakneck speeds, becoming a blur to eyes that haven't had sufficient training. Due to his precision, he can leave objects uncut and people unharmed if he wished, giving a refreshing sense of control that Armada doesn't have, though it is limited due to the fact that it's purely cutting power. Putting his full throttle onto something will leave it diced into a small 1cm cubes with clean cuts. Where Thousand Cuts lacks in destructive power, it makes up for it with precision and speed, able to do this all within a post- although the drawbacks are still severe, so this is more of a finisher for groups of people or one very annoying non-lethal capture.CAL1BURN, FINAL FORMATION: DESPERATION - An ultimatum upon ultimatums- what Eika believes to be the final usage of his CAL1BURN devices. By shattering his devices, he creates a blanket of Seraph-style units that create a circle with a diameter of 20m. Taking a moment to charge up as much as they can, akin to the wait period in "ARMADA", this move takes the overall destructive power of "ARMADA" and condenses it into a lazer that can shred through metallic glass and melt through tungsten, which will span around 3 city blocks in length unless stopped by something it cannot destroy, in which it will split in half and continue around the divergence. The drawbacks are similar to his other final formations.♠ AEG1S - Eika can create a wall of digital mass that protects him from incoming attacks. This wall can have a surface area of 50m2 which can dispersed into any simple shape (square, rectangle, square). This shield can withstand a multiple buildings collapsing atop it and protect against attacks that would pierce through diamond, however, anything above that would shatter the shield into digital particles that fade away. Eika can also create bubbles of shields to either trap people in or protect himself, though these shields are a bit weaker compared to his normal diamond durability.AEG1S, FINAL FORMATION: VALKYRIE - Using this super move uses up all his post usage of his shield, instantly going to a five post cool down before he can use his shields once again along a mind-numbing headache that will destabilize him for a post (this all begins the post AFTER Valkyrie is utilized). When activating Valkyrie, Eika overlays five of his shields, each outer layer smaller than the last. The strength of these shields is incremental- the most outer layer is the ordinary metallic glass that his shield's produce, while each layer gets stronger as it goes deeper, maxing out with the last layer that is as durable as some of the hardest material found on Earth. The biggest shield is around 25m in diameter, with 3m decrements through the layers. This shield is Eika's ultimate defense, useful when the enemy is putting all of their power into one last attack. Valkyrie can be kept up for a single post only, disassembling after the enemy's attack ends or Eika's timer runs out.
» DRAWBACKS « Despite being a ‘heads-up’ display, it is visible to anyone near the person, and it emits a small green tint of light. It’s poor for a single-person stealth mission and struggles to keep secrecy. As well, since the objects are locked in a certain aspect ratio in front of him, the objects clutter up his vision which makes it more difficult to predict and dodge enemy attacks. At his current level of control, he's able to minimize objects on his screen and move them around. If his focus is drawn away from the display, like if he were to be focused on something else with as much focus as he is on his quirk, then the information on screen would begin to get fuzzy and incomprehensible. As well as, while they aren’t exactly physical, they are visible and are able to be disrupted. If a punch is thrown through the display with the same amount of power enough to shatter diamond, then the display would ‘shatter’ and would take two posts to ‘reform’. BASIC TOOLS The to-do list is limited in its functionality as he cannot input objectives that go beyond a certain amount of simplicity. The pointer also only points to the objective on the top of the list and it takes a whole post for him to swap the order of the list. To add a new objective to list takes an amount of mental strain, and thus, also takes a post to place a new objective. TARGET, ANALYZE! ○ Eika’s analysis of people fails to capture heavily complex feelings or movements and, while it can pick up a lot of minuscule movements, it can’t pick up every moment the person takes. Usually, the more important movements (to Eika) will be analyzed. Context put into the analyzing is also minimal, though it could put in obvious things (such as a blade driven into someone or someone attacking them).
○ When analyzing an item, Eika must have direct eye contact with the item. It also cannot discern about an item’s most used person as it can only discern the freshest fingerprints that aren’t Eika’s or his (scanned) allies. It also lacks accuracy when it comes to the item’s general use, as it cannot discern whether or not items have some secondary hidden use if not apparent through some mechanism (ex. If a pen is modeled to be a key, unless that pen had some mechanism that can be seen, the quirk would not pick up it was some sort of unlocking device). It also cannot discern what specific object the item is supposed to be used on.
○ Analyzing an area takes a lot of mental strain on Eika and, sequentially, can make him feel exhausted after large loads of information becomes processed. He also lacks the ability to process hazards that are very subtle, as well as his quirk not being able to take much context into its pathing (ex. It cannot take into account a subtly unstable floor when laying out the best possible path for safety, only hazards that are extremely noticeable. Nor cannot it discern places where he’d be stopped by a person, as this part of the ability cannot analyze people at all). When determining signs of living organisms, the quirk can only take into account visible tracks of people that may be hard to notice yet still cannot pick up anything beyond that (ex. smudged shoe marks may be picked up but strands of hair will not). SAL (combat assistance A.I.) SAL is very powerful, but like every other part of his quirk, it does have its drawbacks. Electronic Jack cannot hijack circuits that exceed a certain amount of complexity- such as devices that require high clearances to access (such as nuclear-level missile launchers, high-priority hero association-related documents, etc. specific cases can circumvent this, such as knowing the credentials). Using SAL too much will cause an overload in Eika's head, and while its third ability is passive, the other two abilities take way too much strain to properly utilize. In a single thread, Eika may only use Electronics Jack upwards to fifteen times before he's unable to do it again, and Data Merge up to eight times. If he uses either of these abilities over his limit (one over), he'll begin to bleed at the nose and a massive headache will remove any ability he has at fighting competently, which lasts for two posts. If he uses it a second time after his limit, then his brain will begin to hemorrhage and he'll need quick medical care else he'll most likely die. CAL1BURN & AEG1S He can create shields and maintain them for around ten posts max, able to create ten shields across three posts, which resets at the end of the third post until hitting his limit (ten shields across three posts, reset during fourth post), which enacts a three post cool down. The ten post counter starts from his first shield creation and, even if he doesn't create or maintain shields for ten posts, he'll hit his three post cool down after ten posts pass. For CAL1BURN, Eika can create and maintain the blades for around ten posts, before requiring two posts of rest. The blades are rather durable, though they were snap if put under enough pressure to begin breaking steel alloys, taking a post for it to reform. The more blades Eika creates, the less precise he'll be; with up to ten blades, he can maintain a consistent amount of precision, but the more blades would mean the harder it becomes to control them. Outputting twenty blades is his maximum- if he keeps twenty blades out for seven posts in a row, he'll begin to feel a massive headache for a post where he'll have to reduce the load to ten blades for the rest of use count.
When he utilizes his super-move, "FINAL FORMATION: ARMADA", Eika will suffer a massive headache immediately after firing the devices as well as finding that all of his scanning equipment 'short-circuits', the post during firing being the time it is most intense and he cannot start a scan. The post after, the headache is still very prominent and can still affect his combat, though he is able to scan items and people now. For the last post, meaning three posts of cool down, his headache still lingers but he's now able to scan areas albeit with an extra post required to scan. He's only able to utilize this super move every five posts AFTER his cool down from using it ends, meaning eight posts between uses. His CAL1BURN units reassemble at 5 units / post, starting the post after he fires. If he is interrupted in the middle of Armada, he will be given the same headache although starting from the second post of cool down, having to wait six posts in total before he can use it once again. This is the same for "Final Formation: Thousand Cuts".
While utilizing his other super move, "Formation: Valkyrie", Eika begins the move by creating his five shields that appear in front of him, which only guard him from attacks that hit him from that angle- explosions will warp around the bends of the shield and he'll mostly dodge the blast as long as he isn't too close to the center. However, there is a threat when using this move, and that's not including the headache that's akin to the one felt in CAL1BURN's finisher- except he cannot use shields instead of the units in this case (exact same three posts of cool down, just swap CAL1BURN units with shields). Every time one of his shields are broken, he feels a surge of pain in his head- normally, his shields break one at a time, with brief pauses in between. This surge of pain lasts for but a second, however, if enough of his shields break at the same time or close enough, he may experience a brain hemorrhage that, while his quirk can repair given the time of five posts, will completely limit his quirk usage to talking to SAL and nothing else- it also may cause other health issues to flare up that may turn something temporary to something permanent. PARALLEL PROCESSING SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | INTELLIGENCE Due to Eika’s natural intellect and love for managing sets of data and calculating outcomes, he has become exceptional skilled in analyzing data and playing out scenarios in his head in the middle of a mission and/or combat, comparing different scenarios in order to come up with what he believes to be the best line of action for him and/or his group to take whenever in a dire situation. This data includes things such as; his teammates current status, any items that are usable, known enemy routes and habits, and their surroundings in terms of escape routes and weak points in a defence. He needs to know these things, but he is starting to be able to make do with assumptions. As a plus, due to it being required, he is also rather good at reading people, their emotions, and what they're thinking.
At his current skill level, he can manage to play out 2-4 scenarios in his head at once with rather fair judgment on which would be the best action to take, the amount of scenarios being able to play out depending on the current situation and how much he has to focus on other things (four scenarios is a best-case scenario, while under heavy pressure he could probably only go through two situations at a time). Because of the nature of this skill, the less data he has, the less he’ll be accurate in his calculations and planning, though his intuition is becoming stronger as time goes on. BLADE OF THE ANALYST SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | COMBAT Eika has recently taken up sharp objects as another form of injuring those he wishes to harm, a professional blade given by Solomon during a late birthday 'celebration', along with his knowledge of brawls, low level to high, has aided his newfound experience in sculpting this skill. Ever since he picked up the blade, Eika has risen to a point where he's nearing the big league, able to perform many complex movements with his mind only further increasing his skill. Inexperienced fighters would find themselves a major uphill battle if they forgo banding together, experienced brawlers also getting quite a run for their money. His body moves rather fluid as he's gotten used to minimizing his openings and increasing the effectiveness of his feints. MARKSMANSHIP SKILL SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | COMBAT Eika, with his late training in the compound, had become quick at learning the ways of precision with handguns. His knowledge of firearms is growing steadily and he's beginning to learn how to hit more complex shots with growing accuracy, though some luck is still required. At his current skill level, he can hit shots up to 20m away rather accurately and at closer ranges of 5m, begin hitting more pinpoint shots (within a 4cm radius) with an assortment of firearms. GAZE OF THE ANALYST BRONZE | BEGINNER | INTIMIDATION Fear is one of the best tools to utilize in a fight- a fearful foe will make all the wrong moves, allowing you to wrap your finger around them easily. Eika has learned to utilize fear by creating it. If his name doesn't incite fear already, then he'll definitely try his best to give you a dirty eye. Aika, in her purest form, is just a very kind soul who enjoys helping her friends in different ways that aren't impossible or too embarrassing. However, she is quick to assume situations and is easy to create misunderstandings just by mishearing a couple words or hearing some dialogue without any context to it. While she can be a lot of things, naive isn't one. After past experiences, she is quick to catch on to when she is annoying or too pestering to people, even if she isn't. After realizing this, falsely or positively, she is quick to shut up and back off from the conversation. Similar behavior could occur whenever someone talks poorly about her in front of her, such as insults or calling stuff she does "stupid" or "annoying".
Despite all the therapy she's already gone through and medication medical professionals try prescribing her, these outbreaks still happen, and it affects her a lot mentally. Though, when she is near people she trusts, this behavior is much less common as she can feel settled with them more often than strangers, who she has no idea what they could be thinking. Though, other anxious breakouts could be easily hidden from physical view due to repetitive incidents. While still affecting her, and sometimes draining her mentally, she finds it easy to keep on putting her kindness up front to others who she thinks needs it more, even if it was a small problem.

» CASUAL OUTFIT: Aika is a rather small and light girl, standing at 5'4" and her weight being a bit below the average. Aika's hair has grown over her year at U.A., and instead of cutting it, she has opted to let it grow out- now tying it up instead. Her casual clothes consist of sweaters and comfortable clothes, and her attire normally includes headphones either on her head or around her neck. She has begun to wear gloves whenever outside (or just using large sweaters to cover her hands with the sleeves, when not in fancy attire).
» HERO OUTFIT: Aika has decided on something rather simple for her hero outfit, allowing easy maneuverability. Unlike her mentor's flamboyant outfit, hers is akin to that of a military suit. There's nothing overly remarkable about it, other than heat-insulated cloth that allows her to remain warm during patrols and steel-toe boots which gives her kicks a little more oomph. HISTORY Aika was born in quite a bland place-- any local bands / restaurants / store owners were friends were her parents and pretty much everyone else due to how small it was. It was a pretty nice local community that helped each other survive. Some worked around the community and others drove into the city to show up for work and all. Aika's main source of happiness and enjoyment as a child came from her school and how much she loved playing with and hanging out with her core friend group there. They would always talk together, do homework together, etc. etc.
While getting ready to walk home one day, Aika was cheerfully getting her schoolwork and school supplies ready and starting to walk to the door when she overheard her friends talking. She was full on prepared to surprise them until she had heard the subject of their conversation-- Aika herself! What could they be saying about her? She listened to their conversation and overheard lots of gossip surrounding her-- "annoying", "pushy", "nosy", and several other words that hurt the young girl. Now, for any normal person, they probably would take the heartbreak and leave the friend group but pick themselves back up. But no, Aika didn't take it as such.
Aika, in retaliation, did several things; she had shut herself up and stopped talking, she started to skip classes, she began to ignore any attempts of friends trying to talk to her (which she would also listen in on how they reacted to that, which was not very well), and began shutting herself in at home instead of going outside and being energetic. This was a rather depressing point in her life, unable to do much about her own feelings and how she constantly felt useless. Her parents were constantly concerned about her well being and finally decided it was time to get her help.
She had finally come in contact with a therapist and was beginning to let out all of her feelings and built up thoughts. Many tears later and it was clear that, despite how little the situation had seemed to be, it had actually meant quite a bit to the girl. She had developed a case of G.A.D and began to take medication for it (which only helped after about two months of starting it). However, she still has several insecurity issues when it comes to interactions with others.
After finally seeking help for her mental health and wishing to better her life off, she decided against continuing her home school line and decided to go abroad-- specifically to U.A, where she felt as though she could refine and improve her Quirk due to how her teachers constantly reminded her of the potential it has. Now it was time to put that to the test; did she really have the potential people have said she has?

The user of the quirk is able to visually see how sound reacts with the environment in smooth, jagged, and other types of waves. She can only see sound she hears, so if she were to use something to block out sounds, her vision would be like a normal person. They can use this ability to take these sound waves and, depending on their strength, consistency, and tone, they can transform them into explosions of different calibers. She has also gotten so used to these sound waves that, if she had met them prior, she can identify someone by their sound waves alone. She can also discover lies if the person she's listening to is inexperienced in the act and she's actively looking for inconsistencies in the wave of sound they produced- in voices, truths are characterized by smoother lines while liars can be seen as more rough and jagged. However, when the person is under a lot of stress / emotional havoc, their voice may come out in this jagged fashion even if not lying, so the person must be in a calm state for it to work to the fullest extent.
The more sounds they can see/hear and the less consistent they are (i.e music that changes a lot or someone talking), the less powerful the explosion is. If the user were to wear some noise cancelling headphones that emitted a consistent tone of a single volume, then that would produce a consistent source of fire power. Noises at certain volumes can only be translated by developing the quirk-- the more developed, the more louder (and bigger) explosions they can create. To create an explosion, the user must be able to visually see a wavelength. She can focus on a single wavelength (though it is hard) or a general area of wavelengths where one random one will be selected and will detonate, blowing the other wavelengths out of the way. The sounds created from explosions can not be used for the quirk, so the user must wait for the ringing of the explosion to stop to use the quirk again.
Due to the nature of their own quirk, they have an improved tolerance to any loud noises that may damage their ears. While not immune, they can certainly take a larger amount of abuse compared to others. This ability can only improve with the development of their quirk (The upper limit of this tolerance would be around the 150 dB range). How big an explosion is dependent on its dB (the average volume level of a source of sound) level and the punch behind an explosion is based on its consistency (how often the music changed volume level). Explosions ramp up in intensity the louder the sound is, however, under a specific volume (~85 dB), all that comes from the quirk is a small poof and a lack of ringing. She also has a bit of protection from her quirk's explosion damage, only gaining light bruises and tinges of warmness when she uses it near her.
The explosions created by her quirk aren't as loud as the real world equivalents, instead, the sound used to create the explosion is how loud the actual explosion would be. Nor are they as powerful as to rip off arms or cause third degree burns. The most powerful explosion she could muster would be enough to blow a lightweight back a good amount and make heavier foes fall behind a few meters while also giving them some second degree burns that last for around three posts, and the most destructive they get is being able to shatter wooden objects and break some common metals. She can also use these explosions to propel herself in vertical directions and sometimes upwards for a leap. At the [ INTERMEDIATE ] level, the max diameter her explosions may have is around 20m, for large scale destruction. There are a few things she can do as of now with her intermediate-level technique; 💥 PROPULSION - Aika can place an explosion behind her and push her body forward, letting her build up more momentum for her Resonant Gauntlets, as well as sending her flying up to 20m in any horizontal direction at fast speeds (around 50mph). She can use her quirk up to two times after the first blast, allowing her to change direction and the like in a post.💥 EXPLOSIVE LEAP - Aika can place an explosion under her person and send herself up to 12m into the air, allowing herself to land up to a meter away from her launch point if she angles it as such. This gives her downwards momentum to smash into the ground with her Resonant Gauntlets or allows her to get up into tricky positions. Aika can use her quirk once while in the air to launch herself up to 3m in any direction, speed her descent, or go a story higher- though she can only do this extension once.💥 MAX DETONATION - Aika harnesses the max output of her quirk for this ultra destructive move! By putting one of her HFME's to full blast, she can create a massive explosion (25m in diameter, 15m tall) that'll destroy a lot of common metals and erode a building's supports that may weaken it as a whole, though it will not collapse simply from that (weaker buildings may require 3-5 well placed explosions from Aika, while more moderately strength ones may require another hit of the super move), as well as blowing back lightweights a large distance away while heavyweights will find them self a good amount away, while inflicting third degree burns for three posts near the center and second degree burns for two posts if they're at least 5m away. She can only use this move once every four posts and she suffers first degree burns along her body that tug her mind from the battle for two posts. This uses up three of her five explosions and the ringing lasts for two posts, giving her two explosions for those two posts only that can only be used either for mobility or knocking people down, unable to hold the same power until the cooldown finishes. She may not use this move while CHAIN DETONATION is active nor while she's under cool down.💥CHAIN DETONATION - Aika can now go beyond her current limitations with this super move, able to use more than five explosions in a post- with some consequences. Aika can activate this ability within a post and, for one post (being the one she activated it in), she can use as many explosions as she wishes. She can either create mini explosions to propel her gauntlets for heavy strikes, moderate explosions that allow her to travel large distances using propulsion (max five uses + she cannot use 'explosive leap' more than thrice), or large explosions that can cause rapid damage to one targeted foe. After 'Chain Detonation' finishes, she begins to take in all the ringing that would've occurred but was delayed- this lasts for one post at base, then an extra post for every three explosions, rounded up. This built up ringing stacks and causes a major headache, making her both unable to activate her quirk and unable to properly fight for two posts. She can only use this ONCE PER THREAD.DRAWBACKS:
Due to the nature of the quirk, the user must be able to withstand loud tones. These noises still damage their ears, thus, there is a risk of damaging the ears permanently and impacting (or even full on removing) the ability to hear, which would damage or render their quirk useless. After using her quirk thrice, the sound is rung into her ears at twice the average volume used. With this, she can use the quirk twice more before having it disabled. The ringing lasts for a single post after use, and using her quirk while her ears are ringing will dampen the second set of explosions and extend the cool down for another post, if she hadn't already used the second set of explosions in the post prior. If she had, she cannot use a second explosion during the next post.
The explosions happen along the wavelength that she can visually see-- the longer down the line she activates it, the less power. She can only use it, at max, 15m away from her body. Her power is rather unusable without the ability to hear only one sound. For example, if she were in the middle of a city with average traffic, then her power would be jumbled from all the voices, cars, etc. and might not even be able to create an explosion at all. While the sound of the explosions cannot hurt her ears, the tones used to create the explosions can. To create more powerful explosions, she must be able to withstand louder and louder sounds.

After a visit to Hibiya post-exam date, Aika needed to fulfill a void left in her stomach after realizing the lack of any real… firepower, in her arsenal. The result of such an action leads to the creation of the Resonant Gauntlets. Specifically created for Aika, the two yellow coloured gauntlets begin out as two bracelets with a few protruding parts. By activating a mechanism, these gauntlets can extend to cover up from her hand to her elbow with a bit of a complicated design. The gauntlet is rather thick around the hand part, which is to cover the ring of High Frequency Mini Emitter’s (HFME) that surround the point near the front of the gauntlet. The design gets thinner as it nears her elbow.
• GAUNTLETS - The actual gauntlets themselves are made of pretty sturdy material, needing a hefty punch to break through. With recent improvements to the gauntlets design, the materials used are a bit more sturdy yet void some of the old weight issues, meaning Aika can move them fluidly yet still use their weight to add oomph to her strikes. They can hold around a ring of HFME’s on each gauntlet (2 per ring) and require a reload after exhausting all of them (takes 1 post to reload), if she can even get to that point. The absorption is also used for absorbing the explosions of her quirk so she can deal damage without inflicting it to herself, and the gauntlets can only take about 30 grams of TNT worth of damage before falling apart.
• HFME - The High Frequency Mini Emitter is a small device that’s cheap to make and emits a high frequency sound that, through some weird application of Aika’s quirk, seems to override the wavelengths of other sounds she sees. Though she’s still required to basically block out all sound to use her quirk properly, they are set to transmit a sound that equates to around 30 grams of TNT, which can be altered depending on Aika’s needs and uses through a small panel on the side of the gauntlets, and caps off around 35 grams of TNT (using more than 30 grams will go over the gauntlet’s absorption limit and deal backlash damage to Aika while also breaking the gauntlet). She can either use them attached to the gauntlet or fling them around her to use other aspects of her quirk.
• FIGHTING STYLE - As it is now, Aika's combat ability with these gauntlets is still underdeveloped, however, she is beginning to get a grasp on the fundamentals- though she's far away from any form of mastering them. She has a few ideas of how to apply the gauntlets and has tested a few of them, other ideas requiring more time. While still slow, Aika's predictability is beginning to lessen with varied techniques, meaning she could probably hold her own against other amateurs. With her current ability, a single punch should be able to break wood, a powered up punch (using her quirk) would be able to snap rusted metals of lower grades, and a shattering blow (max output + shattering gauntlets) should be able to badly dent lower grade metals.

A pale complexion that has a large contrast to the deep maroon eyes that most are drawn to, alongside the oddity of pure white hair, that would be the first impressions of Akagi for most passerby. His near-average stature that is accompanied by what seems to be a barely healthy weight for a boy his size and that'd be his physique. His hair is often rather short and kept to one side or another, overall, pretty basic looking and unassuming. His casual outfit usually consists of some oversized sweater or loose t-shirt with some comfy-looking pants, whatever they may be. He enjoys having very minimal designs on his clothes. Akagi was born into a rather normal household, born three years after his elder sister. His early life was rather enjoyable for a young child who understood little of the world around him-- his parents made sure to take both him and his sister out every so often and to stock up with toys and whatever they wanted which was in a reasonable scope of their income. Quarrels with his sister and normal sibling rivalries on top of a life with little conflict, Akagi got used to this kind of life. MIDDLE SCHOOL
Good times wouldn't be good times if they lasted forever. If no tragedy befell the young Akagi, then what would be his sole motivator for aiding others in need? In Akagi's opinion, a natural born sense of 'justice' just... doesn't exist. It's not possible for someone to be born into the world with naive eyes and believe that they should dedicate their life to helping others in need. Good times can go downhill rather quickly and that is exactly what happened to Akagi Reijiro's life entering Middle School. Akagi, awake under his covers, heard the smashing of a plate that was the evidence of a father thrown over his limit-- the cause, with a shrill, berated him for displaying his own anger towards her. Parents fought, this Akagi knew well, but he knew not of how severe his parent's fights truly were. Broken dishes left to be cleaned up by an awkward silence once things died down, however, no one was harmed, thus it was 'alright', a simple justification brought to the two parent's minds so they didn't have to separate and possibly harm the kids that they both shared the same affection for. Obviously, these thin and brittle excuses were quickly blown away by the intensity of the storm, created by the increasing conflict between the two adults. Fights had become less about a point and more just to be right, whatever that meant to them. Akagi and his sister would often try to avoid their parents when they were in this kind of mood, as getting in the middle of conflict (or becoming the center of it) was their fear. TURNING POINT
Akagi's sense of justice derives from his own experiences-- his naive life and view was shockingly and suddenly torn apart forcefully by the hands of his father, the door to their small but cozy house wide open as the large hands were wrapped around the frail neck of his mother, the sounds of gasps and sputters coming from the girl until, finally, her body laid limp. Anxiety filled the young boy and his father but for two very different reasons. His father was worried about his own fate after committing this crime-- trying to think of several ways to get out of it. The father didn't even notice his son standing right there-- who was confused. He hadn't noticed it had escalated to this point... was he always this blind to it? Was it maybe his fault for not noticing? His father, now noticing the young boy, panicked even more. After grabbing his son, he had a talk with him, the fear in Akagi's mind compelling him to listen. In the end, Akagi agreed to not tell anyone and backup whatever his father said-- especially if any policemen come and ask him. After a bit, the ambulances had arrived, the story of finding the mother like that after a nap was backed up by the very afraid son-- the loud, blaring sirens alongside his father struck constant fear into the boy. His naive view was shattered... it was evident that he wouldn't be able to go on with his life prior. Everyday, he was constantly sick when around his father, praising the days when he was out. Nearing high-school, he felt like he had to get away, as the act didn't only sicken him-- it was the fact he couldn't do anything to stop it. Maybe if he had gotten help for his mother sooner and didn't listen to his old man's stupid talk to save his own butt, then his mother wouldn't be laying in bed unconscious. He wanted to redeem himself-- thus, he was out to U.A, managing to dodge the topic around his father and simply leaving. He trusted that his sister would be alright-- his father never hurt either of the two siblings and it was evident he still very much loved them-- despite his sickening lies played off as an absolute truth to the freshman who was still oblivious to the situation who was his sister. It was time to end his naive life and start anew in U.A. QUIRK CHRONOKINETIC SHIFT SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | EMITTER-MUTATION
» DESCRIPTION: The very core concept of Akagi's quirk is that it allows him to take kinetic energy, from an item or himself, and manipulate it in some way- as of now, it would be redirection and suspension. He cannot create energy, so to increase the energy of one object, he must decrease another's. Chronokinetic Shift is a quirk that is interesting by the fact that he cannot do anything actively, rather, he must do everything reactively. He cannot suddenly generate the power to accelerate his fist for a punch- he must have gotten that energy from somewhere. Punches feel as though they're striking pillows and blades will simply slide off his body without an incision, depending on their strength, as long as he blocks it adequately. 🕛 KINETIC REDIRECTION - What happens when you take the energy from one object and move it to another? Well, Akagi knows very well! Perhaps the first application to come to mind, the boy can take the energy from one action and redirect it to another. Because of this, physical attacks that can break stone are practically nullified if Akagi is able to react to them, and attacks that would break common steel are more easily endured. Anything above such will make Akagi take the full power but his redirect will be equivalent to his cap. Akagi can choose not to store the energy of the punch, which is why he must be able to react to the punch, but if he does choose to, he has the opportunity to redirect it into his own body to do one of three things, and he must do it within a singular post or the kinetic energy will make him feel the force of the attack as he would normally. Lastly, he cannot store energy while using any of these forms, meaning he cannot uphold them or active two at a time: 🕐 COUNTER - He takes the energy and puts it back into an attack of his own- named 'counter', Akagi uses the attack of his foe to throw one back. When doing this, atop of his own power, he can punch through common steels and shatter stone. This can apply to his fist, his kick, or even his head! With counter, a gust of wind may be formed by his strike, which is intense enough to sweep up objects of 300 lbs or less and knock them back a few meters, including people! 🕑 SPEEDSTER - By taking this force of the attack, he takes the energy and applies to his legs to increase his speed. While lacking the offensive capabilities of the first application, this one allows him to run away at full force! When he does this, alongside his own enhanced agility, he can begin to move his body at a speed of 60 mph, becoming a soft smudge to untrained eyes as he moves. 🕒 TANK - The last thing he can do when taking an attack is to increase his overall durability and endurance. While this makes his body heavier and harder to move, it increases his overall endurance and strength. For up to four posts, his body becomes the durability of common steel and he can carry up to 2 tons. His fists are too slow to throw a punch that can do any damage and his speed moves to a crawl, but he does create craters in the sidewalk as he moves. 🕛 KINETIC CONVERSION - Akagi is able to convert energy that isn't the normal kind he takes in- with this, the slashes and jabs of blades that can slice cleanly through common steels, as well as the raging fire and freezing ice that may hold similarly destructive properties, may be converted to kinetic energy and reduced in intensity (case-by-case basis, discussed OOCly). This allows him to sit in the middle of a blaze just fine, or resist the freeze of a blizzard while fighting onward for whatever cause he believes in- however, he has to use that kinetic energy somehow, else he may suddenly burn up out of nowhere! 🕛 KINETIC GUARD, V. AUTOMATIC - Akagi's body has learnt something very important- pain = not good. With [ KINETIC GUARD, V. AUTOMATIC ], Akagi's body has learnt to automatically block out hostile attacks that may be intending to harm him as long as they don't exceed a specific speed and power. With this, low-velocity bullets and strikes that would break stone may find themselves automatically blocked out by Akagi's quirk, although with the caveat that the energy is dispersed naturally around his body rather than stored for his use. He can only be saved by this up to five times over the course of two posts, which resets on the third post. 🕛 KINETIC SUSPENSION - Another application of Akagi's quirk, by putting his hand on a non-organic item (for unmoving items) or by having it connect with his hand (for moving objects), he can temporarily suspend that item's kinetic energy. This leaves it suspended in mid-air and one must hit it with enough force to break common steels to get it moving again. Items that are moving fast enough to break common steels and tougher materials are impossible to suspend at his current level. After a maximum of five posts of suspension, or whenever Akagi wishes for it before that period, he can allow the item to resume its path, or change the trajectory that it'll take- or even feed it with stored kinetic energy, which will add on top of whatever destructive power it has, capping out at the ability to shred through common steel. He does not remove the kinetic energy in this case, simply pauses it. The max number of items he can hold within Kinetic Suspension is five, at the moment, and the total weight of these items must not exceed a ton. 🕛 過負荷 (OVERLOAD) - Akagi wants to protect. His entire quirk, rather than a tool to become some unstoppable beast, is evidently supposed to be used to protect lives- and this super move is probably a birth of that desire. Upon activation, Akagi's quirk immediately kicks into overdrive, anything that is currently moving within a 25m diameter bubble (with him as the center) will suddenly stop- bullets that are whizzing through the air, rubble that is raining from the sky, or the flying punch of an ill-meaning foe. If the object is not grounded / attached to a person, they will simply lose their momentum, as if their fist suddenly lost all of its acceleration or their kick stopped dead in its tracks- they can resume their strike once they regain their momentum, however, objects that are detached from the ground / are in the middle of the air will find themselves trapped in the air, the kinetic energy zapped away from all of them, remaining there for five posts or until Akagi releases them, as long as all of these objects fit under the limitations of the other parts of his quirk- this also means that, if there's enough debris and mayhem in the air, Akagi can redirect it all and fling it somewhere else; the more destructive one has been, the more this super move will bite them in the butt. But that isn't the end of it- at this point, it's obvious Akagi's quirk follows a simple rule. All of this kinetic energy- it has to go somewhere, and that place ends up being Akagi's own body. After everything has stopped its motion, Akagi will find himself with a great deal of kinetic energy pent up in his body, giving him a multitude of physical enhancements, although he cannot store kinetic energy during this period, only expend it. This form, nicknamed [ 勢い ] (MOMENTUM), gives Akagi the ability to endure attacks that would break through common steels and break through the same material with his punches, move fast enough that his body somewhat smudges to untrained eyes and leap up at least four stories. When this form is active, Akagi's body glows a soft yellow as crackles of lightning form around his body- what he assumes is the physical manifestation of too much kinetic energy. He can maintain this form for around five posts until he's out of juice- alternatively, he can put all of the energy into one punch to end the form early, which decreases in intensity with every post that passes- at its max, however, the punch may make the ground beneath them tremble and a building form cracks, nearly crumbling from its might- although it'd take another few punches (3-6) of his normal counter for the building to even get close to falling, it'll surely cause some instability, and maybe even blow through some tough defenses when needed! » DRAWBACKS: As said before, Akagi's quirk is purely reactive. He cannot activate it willy-nilly, rather, he must be responding to something happening. Punches that would not break wood have too little kinetic energy to convert and the act of bouncing a ball off the wall wouldn't be enough to activate it, either. As well, while he can zap some of the power of attacks stronger than his max, he won't be able to weaken the blow from them. Lastly, he must use the energy stored from his quirk within a post, else he'll suffer the blow normally. If he cannot throw a punch, he cannot dispel it through that method- as well as being unable to dispel it if he cannot run. Atop of this, he also has a limit to how much kinetic energy he can withstand pent up. At this moment, he can withstand eight attacks that would break stone, or five attacks that would break common steel each post (two stone-breaking = one low-grade metal breaking). While he cannot use the energy from weaker level attacks (unless they're in an abundance, determined case-by-case), he can withstand up to ten attacks from those who can break wood, or twenty attacks from those who can make cracks in wood. As well, his quirk does have some time limitations! If he uses his quirk continuously for five posts, he will encounter a phenomenon known to him as 'Kinetic Lock'. He must wait two posts after using his quirk to restart the post count usage and, if he doesn't use his quirk for a post but uses it the following post, the counter starts from where it left off. Kinetic Lock is when he begins to feel strange feelings due to his quirk's effects as it goes haywire on his body. For a post, his body will begin to lock up randomly, arms and legs speeding up and slowing down (or completely stopping), and after that post, he cannot use his quirk for another. This phenomenon shows up immediately after his supermove finishes, which takes place over a three post cool down, which also entails no super move usage for three posts after that. For the first post after [ 勢い ] finishes its limit, or he expends the energy early, he'll be in immediate spasms, instantly dropping to the ground as his body moves in unwanted ways, only able to somewhat get up and run away if his legs don't give early. The second post, the effects lessen in intensity, but is still there- more so the locking up part rather than the speeding up and slowing down, but it's still getting in the way of his fighting. The last post, before his three post wait until the next usage of overload, will have him somewhat locking up but still relatively okay to go on the defensive. For these three posts, he cannot store and use kinetic energy. OTHER ABILITIES KINETIC SCRAPS BRONZE | NOVICE | COMBAT Akagi is not a proficient fighter; this much is obvious by the way his body moves. However, he has learned a little bit of technique from his training session with Lucas. At this level, he's unlikely to win any fights except for those who had never held their fists up before, but he's getting better! This technique using a defensive form to disarm opponents and whittle away their defences. For now, he may get a loose grip on your weapon, but his ability to throw hands in your face is still a bigger threat- only in comparison, sadly. ENHANCED AGILITY BRONZE | NOVICE | SKILL Akagi, as a child, was a much more athletic person than others in his class. Often opting into things such as track meets and anything that had to do with going faster than others. After a few recent events, his agility is becoming nothing to really scoff at, his speed equating to that of a high school athlete and agility nearing levels of an experienced gymnast. ENHANCED REFLEXES BRONZE | NOVICE | SKILL Akagi's reflexes are a bit better than an ordinary person, able to dodge a few more punches than others, resembling that of a captain of a non-professional sports team. He's nothing superhuman at this level, though it does help with his quirk a bit. Although he thinks very highly of himself and his work, he knows when to not talk smack and when to back off on hostilities until he can grow and reach their point. So, he's a dick- but he knows when to hide that. He has an odd obsession with the fact that his acts of murder are "art", and sees things such as thievery and other forms of crime as petty and unnecessary- after all, there's no higher form of beauty than blood thinned on a wall and a body displayed in a wondrous state. He's the kind you'd see standing around on a path filled with cherry blossoms- maybe even surrounded by some officers. Elegance is the one word Masaaki would use to describe himself, white hair and oak eyes with pale skin making him look quite stunning underneath the moonlight. Normally, when roaming his own manor or the public, he wears clothes that don't make him stand out- normal white tees and jeans, just the normal kind of clothes for the season at hand. Although, when he converts to a look of villainy, he puts on a wonderful white cloak with traditional style clothes underneath, and his sword cherry blossom and its sheath on his waist. To finish off this look, he wears the mask of a kitsune because he thinks it looks nice. HISTORY Our story begins with the feeling of concrete beneath him, heavy breathing, and a sharp pain- Masaaki Nakamura could only remember waking up in the middle of a path with cherry blossom trees sprouted on either side, the falling petals looking so elegant as a hand was pulled to his chest, three large slashes creating a wound. His heat hurt- he must've fallen, but why couldn't he remember anything? How had he gotten here? There were shreds of things that made sense, yet nothing was coherent enough. He slowly climbed to his feet, his body taking him through the path, somehow ending up in a town in what felt like a slideshow of his life. After a brief trip to the hospital, he found himself at that path of cherry blossoms once more- it had been so far from town, how did he know how to get back? The house felt so... familiar, stepping within felt like he had arrived at home despite how quiet the place was. Water collected through a well, everything felt so old-fashioned, and it felt like familiarity had disguised itself as unfamiliarity. As he explored the small house more, he found a blade, a beautiful golden white and black sheath, alongside gold accents on the handle, had him instantly in love. Grabbing ahold of it felt natural, yet swinging it was still so hard- as if his body knew how to do it, yet his mind couldn't keep up. The next few days were spent getting back into shape- documents around the house gave him the idea that his name was Masaaki Nakamura, his quirk was explored with and he spent a bit of it training the sword skill, although that last part was hardly on his mind during most of the time. He knew a lot of things- languages such as English and Japanese came to him naturally, remembering where he was and how to get places wasn't difficult, yet any details pertaining to himself were incredibly hard to come by- as if he were a blank slate, with only the framework of a person. The wound on his chest was enough to prove his humanity, yet it was still all odd. His life went rather peaceful for a few days after until a certain day- he was exploring the villain-filled city of Shinogi off of simple curiosity, his blade hidden underneath his white cloak for safety as he did some sightseeing, although he would obviously be stopped at some point, when a rough-looking man would expose himself to the white-haired man, demanding his money or something to that tune- in all honesty, it was the second case of Masaaki's mind turning into a set of slides presented to him. All he knew is that, afterwards, the man's body would be slumped against the wall- a large eye was tinted red off the left side of his back and his sword was stained in crimson, the walls of the alleyway he was lead into were stained with the fluids. A pause- what had he done, why had he done it, and why did it feel so good? The same feeling he had when looking upon his katana, the path of cherry blossoms, or when listening to the delightful tunes of master violinists. It was beautiful. He wanted to do it more- to get better at it. This person was a nobody, yet it felt so good- how would it feel when they had more prestige? More skill? Masaaki just had to try... and try he would, quickly picking up a mask of kitsune-nature. He didn't know where he got it from, but he had a good amount of money to sit on, although he'd definitely be doing jobs in the future- this was the birth of a new villain, someone who would later be feared, and as he was thinking of a moniker, the small petal of a sakura tree from above him would fall upon his nose- then it struck, He would be called "Blossom". ITEMS cellphone - the essential tool, although this model is a bit old. it's still good looking nonetheless, although it does get a bit sluggish when he tries to do too much with it. cherry blossom - a title for his katana, the sword is made of a metal similar in composition to steel, although it synergizes oddly with his quirk in which it can consume blood on the blade. it's very lightweight, which means the fast slashes necessary are doable, but he needs the technique to pull them off! » DESCRIPTION: Masaaki has an everlasting hunger- not for food, mind you, but for something very different. Avarice, also known as "greed", is one of the seven cardinal sins. It doesn't feel like it belongs to Masaaki as a person, yet it exists anyhow, with no lineage or history to check as an explanation. When inactive, Avarice takes the form of a marking on Masaaki's right hand, although it is faded and hard to notice under direct sunlight unless paying close attention. This is the catalyst for his quirk, how he activates it, and how one may disrupt it- if he loses his hand, the marking will take an entire day to morph and appear on the other hand, which leaves him quirkless in the meanwhile. If he loses the next hand, he will be without a quirk, unless he can acquire a prosthetic. To activate Avarice, Masaaki must simply want to use it while squeezing his marked hand into a fist. The pink marking will softly glow, before having its hues inverted into a black / turquoise style, and it'll start to snake down the Masaaki's arm. After this, not only does his hair grow out, but also an odd turquoise eye with black strands will come out of the man's back, pointing to the left. The black parts look somewhat like flames, though they contain no heat, and everything simply phases through the eye. As long as this eye is out and his quirk is active, voices will ring in Masaaki's head- at this level, they have strung into somewhat coherent groups of words, usually pertaining to what he is doing at the moment- sometimes urging him to kill that guy or harm another. This eye gives Masaaki different ways of using newfound power. 🌙 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN - The core part of his quirk, [ 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN ] allows Masaaki to consume matter and some attacks by funnelling it into his palms, to a degree. In the realm of matter, Masaaki can consume anything whose composition is as durable as steel, the object withering away in a cloud of the same black fire-like substance coming off the eye, meaning that he cannot "eat" things such as titanium and reinforced concrete- as well, he can only eat something five times every two posts, matter or elemental, and that thing cannot be larger than 20m³, although he can only create deep slash marks akin to a wolf's claw on organic matter. For attacks in the elemental realm, they must be low power enough for him to consume- fire cannot be hotter than a level that would melt stainless steel, electricity cannot go beyond the confines of his own rank, and other situations will be case-by-case and discussed oocly. (things that are still elemental but have solid mass, like ice, are counted under both "matter" and "elemental". the matter itself is the object of ice and the elemental part of it is the manipulation / coldness of it- he can recreate normal ice, although the supernatural stuff much be charged. this is the same for earth and the like.) 🌙 再生 ・ SAISEI - 再生 is a method of application that allows Masaaki to recreate that in which he has consumed. There are two different ways this works, both in the field of "physical" reproduction and "elemental" reproduction. While he can recreate "matter" that he has consumed prior as much as he wants (as long as he has the required energy, of course), "elemental" requires him to have consumed the attack prior, which will give him a "charge" for that element (masaaki can start the thread with up to two charges if agreed upon oocly by thread participants, and can only hold up to five charges total). Elemental attacks will always be in correspondence to his current rank, so the fire would be hot enough to melt stainless steel, electricity will be shocking enough to taze at the level of his quirk's rank, and other cases are decided oocly, and the power can only be pushed out 20m away from his palm or released in a 20m diameter and tall dome, him as the center, with somewhat reduced effect. Physical recreation means he cannot create anything larger than what he has consumed- this means he may be able to create some makeshift shields in the heat of combat, although it's mostly used to create a large bunch of cherry blossoms above him to create aesthetic to his fights. He can only create a physical object within a 20m diameter dome of him, and can only create up to five attacks and/or physical constructs per two posts. 🌙 食欲 ・ SHOKUYOKU - 食欲 allows Masaaki to use the energy consumed to boost his physical prowess, having a passive application while his quirk is active. Due to this, he's able to move at speeds of 60 mph, react to things as fast as a low-velocity bullet, lift up to two tons of weight, and allow his sword to glide through common steel with ease. This application must be maintained by his quirk through the use of [ 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN ] to consume things, whether it be attacks, actual matter, or injuring people through it- as well, he gets a free post of 食欲 usage upon activation. This mode shifts his hues from oak to green, which is a physical sign that he's under the effect of [ 食欲 ・ SHOKUYOKU]. As well, his quirk has begun to use the energy gained through [ 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN ] to heal Masaaki, as long as he can maintain his boost- shallow cuts and mild bruising is healed within a post, mild cuts and harsh bruising is healed within a post, and deep cuts and broken bones can be healed within two posts. Anything beyond that severity may heal over the course of three to four posts, but it'll only lessen the impact, not completely rid Masaaki of whatever ailment. This also means that poisons will slowly thin out as long as they aren't too complex or their dosage isn't too high. 🌙 休止 ・ KYŪSHI - The eye has more than just an aesthetic use- as long as the eye has a stable line of sight on someone who's 20m away from Masaaki, the boy will look as if he is frozen in place until disturbed by something or Masaaki touches the person. The eye will shine a red glow as its pupil locks onto the person, so that's a big giveaway, and it's useless against those with minds that one would have major difficulty tampering with. Masaaki is required to have eaten something with his quirk in the post that he uses this move, and the mirage looks convincing unless one were half a meter away from him- although, if he's that close, that split second is probably all he'd need. This ability is cancelled out if the eye loses sight of someone for an entire post- either by them moving to his left, something placing itself in between to block the eye's view, or something else. When he uses this, he must wait two posts before doing so again.
🌙 SUPER MOVE: 消す ・ KESU - Avarice's ace, the last resort for Masaaki because of what it does to him afterwards. It takes the application of 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN and pushes it to the max output. Instead of consuming an actual item, what Masaaki does with this is consume the air in front of him. With the largest constraints, he will delete an entire 25m tall and wide dome within 10m of Masaaki's person, as long as the center is in his view, and he seems to be able to ignore the effects of the move. After it has been executed, the first post will have the area suddenly going quiet as the medium for sound to travel disappears and people find their breath gone. This will happen for a split second and an average person would have their eardrums ruptured, causing a loud ringing for around three posts. After this, air will quickly rush into the area, sucking anything with a weight of around 2 tons as close to the center as possible as the area immediately heats up, making everyone feel an intense heat. The post after this, once everything is sucked into the center, an explosion will occur due to what had happened in the first, blowing away everything that it had sucked in. This explosion will cause fourth degree burns to those within the 5cm center, third degree to those in the 15m past that, and second degree to everywhere else as long as one is in the move's range, as well as destroying steel-durability materials and weakening a building's foundation, although not toppling it by himself. Masaaki is unaffected by the sucking, rupturing, asphyxiation, and explosion but not the shrapnel from the explosion. » DRAWBACKS: A quirk such as this must have drawbacks, as no matter how much Masaaki calls himself perfect, there are evident flaws to his power. One of the major ones would be the absolute hunger that flows through his body once he starts the quirk- so much so that he begins to get a headache for every post that he doesn't eat something, either through harming another or through his [ 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN ] skill. If he doesn't "eat" something for two posts, his quirk will automatically disable and plague him with a headache that lasts for around a post, taking his mind away from the fight. Beyond that, if he does manage to keep up the quirk's hunger, he can only maintain it for around five posts before requiring it to be disabled and having two posts of calming down as his mind stabilizes itself. He may push it to a sixth post of usage, but doing so will increase his drawback to three posts and driving him into a frenzy upon exiting for a single post, where he'll attack anyone in his view. As well, his [ 再生 ・ SAISEI ] skill may take the energy from his consumption, although that still means that he'll still be using some of his own energy. Every time he creates a physical manifestation, he'll feel sluggish for a brief moment afterwards- this effect stacks the more physical manifestations in a post, meaning that he may find himself stuck to half of his normal movement for a post if he blasts four physical creations for a post. When recreating elemental attacks, he'll lose something in relation to the power- body heat would be lost if he creates fire, his ability to react lost with electricity, and other cases discussed when they come up. To recreate three of the same attack, however, means that he'd have to consume three of that attack in a thread- which would mean he would have to use [ 饗宴 ・ KYŌEN ] skill three times. Recreating attacks can turn the tide of a battle in a good way, although there's still a risk to doing it. For his super move, [ 消す ・ KESU ], Masaaki will immediately feel an intense feeling of satisfaction as he consumes everything- so much so that, to use the move, he has to have not consumed anything during the post he starts and he'll be unable to eat anything for a post afterwards. His mind will also feel an intense corruption, meaning he won't be able to fight while the super move takes its time to go through the motions, as well as a post afterwards. His body will feel incredibly sluggish as his movement drops to half of his normal capacity and his strength lowers to only being able to cut through stone and lifting half of his current ability, although this does mean that [ 食欲 ・ SHOKUYOKU ] will have enough energy to maintain itself for these three posts. He's only able to use this super move once every thread. OTHER ABILITIES SAKURA-STYLED ARTS SILVER | INTERMEDIATE | COMBAT A blade held onto due to an unnatural bond, the Sakura-styled Sword Arts seem to be burned into the muscle memory of Masaaki- although it feels incomplete. Movements are clean and elegant, cuts meant to create a sense of beauty in the pain they cause, spraying rooms with crimson delight. It revolves around sheathing and unsheathing his blade at certain beats in the fight to tune well with the hand requirement of his quirk, as well as creating fast slashes that make the blade smudge and, at later points, make it look as if it never left the sheath! At this level, Masaaki has an intermediate grasp on the fundamentals and his blade is becoming very difficult to see, even those with decent eyes seeing his blade smudge across the horizon, average folks barely seeing it at all. Some of the specialized techniques Masaaki can perform are: 🌸 千本桜 ・ SENBONZAKURA - Careful footwork allows Masaaki to make minimal movements and heavy cuts, allowing him to make a barrage of slashes against his enemy or a small 10m³ area, only if under [ 食欲 ・ SHOKUYOKU ], after sheathing his blade temporarily, his swings blurring to untrained eyes although still partly trackable. Sacrificing defence for offence, this technique allows Masaaki to put the fight on a timer, making his opponent risk bleeding out due to the amount of cuts. This will leave him a bit sluggish for the post following, though, so he has to be careful! 🌸 夜桜 ・ YOZAKURA - A cut so gentle yet swift that it'll give a clean cut through a falling cherry blossom. By calming his breath and sheathing his sword, Masaaki can create a single fast cut that has increased power- deep cuts in the body or even separating limbs from their owner isn't impossible with this technique, even creating 1m long gashes in steel. He can either perform this move on whatever is infront of him, or leap forward around 15m if he's under [ 食欲 ・ SHOKUYOKU ]. This move needs intense concentration, which means that it's mostly used to finish a fight- the post afterwards, his mind will be out of the fight, requiring him to play the defensive heavily until he can reorient himself.
🌸 桜の渦 ・ SAKURA NO UZU - Also known as "cherry blossom whirlpool", it is a move that allows Masaaki to dispatch of a group in an efficient manner. By clever use of footwork, positioning, and blade movements, Masaaki can cut away at multiple sides of his person. It's best when he's surrounded, although a fast opponent may also find this move quite annoying to deal with. The concentration required for this means he'll be a bit sluggish the post following.
🌸 再生桜 ・ SAISEI SAKURA - His blade has a special connection to his quirk- not only can it consume the blood from the blade and act as fuel, but he can actually infuse the effects of [ 再生 ・ SAISEI ] into the blade to create powered up slashes, and actually combine them with any of his other techniques. At this point, he can infuse, at most, two different elements at once that may create effects depending on combinations and may help / hurt against certain materials and the like. The blade will tint the colour of the element he's using and may include some effects, like a flame taking over the blade or crackles of electricity consuming the metal. FLOWERY AURA BRONZE | NOVICE | AURA Ensuring people don't see you as a threat is a quintessential skill of being a good villain. With this, Masaaki can play himself off as more innocent than he truly is- people in his area may begin feeling as if there are butterflies in their stomach, akin to one's first love. Although the feeling isn't strong, those may subconsciously feel a little more comfortable around them, granted they aren't too skeptical of his person- any knowledge of his person that may break such an illusion will do so. This ability may clash with those who create an intimidating aura, allowing him to somewhat deal with those who cause a sense of dread.
